This update brings a batch of hunter talent and ability fixes. A number of these talents were simply not implemented server-side before — spending points in them did nothing at all. They now work, so hunters will feel meaningfully stronger.
Newly implemented: Kill Command, Lacerate, Lock and Load, Piercing Shots, Experimental Ammunition, Swift Aspects and Planning Ahead. These talents previously had no server-side effect at all.
Volley now benefits from ranged attack power.
Bestial Wrath applies an 18-second duration override to Scent of Blood; Bestial Discipline's cooldown reduction now applies to the right spells.
Bestial Precision now correctly grants pet weapon skill (+5 at rank 1, +10 at rank 2).
Coordinated Assault gained proc gating and a 3-second internal cooldown to stop it firing too often.
Several Steady Shot talents (Endless Quiver, Efficiency, Hawk Eye, Improved Marksmanship) had their missing spell masks added.
Survival fixes: Resourcefulness now covers melee abilities, Savage Strikes covers Carve and Lacerate, and Trap Mastery's fire trap damage bonus is fixed.
🪤
Trap and aspect changes
The "cannot be used in combat" restriction on traps is now applied through server-side configuration, leaving the client data untouched. Untamed Trapper still lets you place traps in combat, and this update makes sure Snap Trap is covered too.
Untamed Trapper covers all 13 traps, including Snap Trap.
Lacerate, Poison Spit, Immolation Trap and Serpent Sting no longer overwrite one another and can all be active at once.
Poison Spit gained 25% spell power scaling.
Aspect of the Wolf no longer blocks ranged attacks through the old special-case rule.
Trueshot Aura now raises ranged attack power as well; previously it only affected melee.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side update. Code and data went live together, and no players were online at restart.
If a hunter talent behaves differently from its description, please report the talent name, its rank and what you observed.
Hidden nature resistance removed from some characters
A routine audit found that 285 characters recovered through the backup-restore feature were carrying a hidden passive, Nature Resistance (Rank 4), silently granting +120 nature resistance. It is a hunter pet ability that was attached to the characters themselves by a batch of restore jobs in mid-to-late May 2026. Being passive and absent from the spellbook, it was invisible to the players concerned. It has now been removed.
Scope: 285 characters, all from the restore batch of mid-to-late May 2026. Characters that never used the restore feature are unaffected.
The ability never appeared in the spellbook and could not be acquired deliberately, so no player action caused this. No penalties apply and no past combat records will be revisited.
Only this one ability was removed. Other spells, talents, gear and gold are untouched.
The matching hunter ability used to teach pets resistances is working as intended and was left alone.
If your character used the restore feature and you notice the nature resistance figure on the character sheet drop, that is the expected result of this correction.
🔎
Maintenance note
A data-only correction that required no server restart. Every affected character was offline at the time, so the change takes effect at their next login.
We also compared every passive ability held by these 285 characters against 1,594 other restored characters and confirmed no further hidden bonuses came along — the issue was limited to this one ability.
A complete backup (character name, account and restore history) was taken before removal, so any individual character can be restored precisely if needed.
Whether the restore process can still produce this is under investigation; we will report back in a later update.
⚔️
AI Battleground Improvements
A round of improvements to AI Warsong Gulch.
Difficulty now scales with your PvP rank: the higher your rank, the tougher the AI opponents
Low-level AI now has proper gear and skills for its level, making fights feel fairer
Icicles could damage the caster, and Flash Freeze's root did not trigger as intended. Both are fixed.
Icicles no longer damage you, and their root plus the Shatter crit bonus now work.
Flash Freeze is now implemented.
Piercing Ice and Ice Shards now correctly affect Icicles.
Shatter's crit bonus against frozen targets now reads from the talent data instead of hardcoded values.
🔮
Arcane fixes
Several arcane talents had incorrect masks or missing spell power scaling.
Arcane Surge and Arcane Rupture now scale with spell power.
Arcane Power now applies its mana degeneration and mana gain reduction.
Arcane Meditation's bonus below 35% mana now works.
Arcane Focus, Arcane Potency, Accelerated Arcana and Arctic Reach had their talent masks corrected.
Temporal Convergence's proc cooldown and mana return are fixed; Resonance Cascade is now properly limited to arcane spells and caps at 4 stacks.
✨
Other mage changes
Amplify Magic and Dampen Magic are now implemented.
Ignite now correctly attributes its threat.
Arcane Power's cast behaviour was adjusted to match its design.
🎁
Compensation for the restart disruption
After this mage update went live the server restarted repeatedly for a period, interrupting play for some of you. The cause has been found and fixed, and the realm is stable again. We are sorry for the disruption.
Affected accounts have been given 80 coins as compensation. Nothing to claim — the balance is already updated in the shop.
If you were affected during that window but did not receive it, please contact an administrator.
🏹
Hunter Aspect of the Wolf training cost fixed
The first rank of this ability cost far more than the later ranks, well beyond what a level 10 character could afford. It has been corrected.
Rank 1 now costs 10 silver instead of 1 gold.
The level 10 requirement is unchanged, and the later ranks keep their existing costs.
💎
Gemstone cluster opening fixed
Gemstone clusters could open with nothing inside — the Dense Gemstone Cluster did so more than half the time. They now always yield at least one material.
The Rough, Coarse, Solid and Dense clusters now always give a material when opened.
Existing rare drop rates are unchanged; the shortfall was filled with common materials of a matching tier.
The Coarse Gemstone Cluster now yields Crystal Quartz somewhat more often.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side update, built and verified on the test realm before going live with nobody online.
If a mage talent behaves differently from its tooltip, please report the talent, spell rank and what you observed.
Accelerated Arcana's cooldown reduction based on cast speed is not finished yet and will come in a later update.
Inn rested XP scaling restored, and a keyring item mail fix
The level-banded rested XP feature that went live on 6 August stopped working after a later server update that evening, reverting every level to a flat 20 minutes. The cause has been found and fixed, and the bands are in effect again. Apologies to anyone levelling an alt during that window.
Affected window: 6 Aug 18:55 to 7 Aug 12:20. During it, filling the rested pool took 20 minutes at every level.
Bands are live again: 5 min for levels 1-14, 10 min for 15-24, 15 min for 25-34, 20 min for 35-44, 25 min for 45-54, and 30 min for 55 and above.
Rested XP you had already banked is unaffected — nothing needs to be re-accumulated.
Note: the speed-up applies only inside inn rest zones, not capital-city rest zones, and level 60 no longer gains rested XP.
🔑
Fixed a keyring item being returned to the mailbox
Some players found the Barnacle Covered Key returned from their keyring to their mailbox every time they logged in. This has been fixed.
The item was not correctly classified as a key, so it could not stay in the keyring and was mailed back on every login.
It now stays in the keyring as expected and is no longer returned.
Players who already received it by mail can collect it as normal; the item itself was never affected.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side update, verified on the test realm through build, deployment and binary checks before going live.
The feature's code was missing from the source tree used for a later rebuild. It has now been merged into the main tree, and the build process gained an automatic source comparison plus a pre-release binary check to prevent a repeat.
The Darkmoon Faire cannon fix and the battleground buff pickup fix from the same 6 August update are unaffected and remain live.
If rested XP still does not accrue at an inn, or the rate clearly differs from the bands above, please report your level and the name of the inn.
Filling the rested pool at an inn used to take 20 minutes at every level. It is now banded by level — low levels fill quickly and high levels more slowly, so levelling alts feels smoother.
Levels 45-54: 25 minutes. Level 55 and above: 30 minutes.
📍
Where it applies
This change affects only rested XP gained inside an inn; other rest sources are unchanged.
You must be inside an inn; the rested state in capital cities does not use these new rates.
Tents and campfires use a separate rested pool (capped at 50%) and are unaffected.
Rested XP accrued while offline follows the same rules as before.
Level 60 characters never gain rested XP, so nothing changes for them.
🗡️
Rogue talent Blackjack fixed
With the talent learned, using Sap still broke stealth. The talent's trigger condition was misconfigured, so the return-to-stealth effect never fired — at one point as well as at two.
Sap now keeps you stealthed at the talent's listed chance: 50% at one point, 100% at two.
The damage-reduction effect tied to Blind is unaffected and behaves as before.
🎪
Darkmoon Faire cannon fixed
The Blastenheimer 5000 Ultra Cannon never actually launched anyone: you climbed in, the barrel swung round, it fired, and then you simply dropped back out of the muzzle. Both faire cannons now fire properly, arcing you out to the target ring in the lake.
Firing now launches you into the air instead of dropping you where you stood.
The slow-fall effect lasts the whole flight, so you no longer plummet partway through.
The Thunder Bluff cannon aims at the ring in Stonebull Lake; the Goldshire cannon aims at the ring in Crystal Lake.
The Goldshire cannon now fires at a steeper angle so you clear the trees beside the emplacement.
⚔️
Battleground buffs no longer missed when running over them
Battleground buff pickups have only a 3-yard trigger radius, but the shared trap logic paused for about a second after a miss before scanning again. Running across 3 yards takes far less than that, so you would often pass straight through without picking anything up and had to stop and stand on it. That pause no longer applies to battleground buffs.
Running over restoration, berserking and speed buffs now picks them up — no need to stop and wait.
The pause was a performance guard for objects such as the sixteen hundred-plus city campfires, and still applies to those.
Hunter traps use a separate code path and are unaffected by this change.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side update, verified on the test realm through build, deployment, startup and configuration checks before going live.
The per-band durations are configurable, so future tuning will not require a server restart.
If rested XP does not accrue at an inn, or the rate clearly differs from the bands above, please report your level and the name of the inn.
Gathering nodes restored, and higher spawn density across the world
A batch of gameobject templates was missing from the world database. Those objects had spawn coordinates but no template, so the server skipped them and they never appeared in the world. All of them are now restored.
Rosemary (68 spawns), Poppy (41), Arcane Artifact (36), Vulpa Bloom (24) and Shimmering Shell (21) now spawn correctly.
Dry Fire Wood (20), Life's Dawn (17), Summer Dew (15), Freshly Cut Wood (12) and Oil Canister (9) were restored as well.
Zeppelin Cargo, Barrel of Oil, Loch Modan Berry Bush and Sturk's Chest are visible again too.
16 kinds of gatherable object across 281 spawn points in total.
🏛️
Scenery and functional objects restored
Besides gatherables, the same batch included trigger volumes, collision bodies, portals and doors.
The gardening system's zone trigger (184 spawns) is back, so gardening areas work as intended again.
The Stormwind Vault collision bodies (37 spawns) are back, restoring correct terrain blocking there.
Arena doors, meeting stones, the Portal to Goldshire, the Locked Crypt Door, Spirit Pyres and Survival Tents are usable again.
Gathering nodes use a concurrent-spawn cap: each zone defines many spawn points, but only a portion of them exist at any one time. That cap has been raised, so noticeably more veins are available in the world at once. The number of times a single vein can be mined is unchanged.
Concurrent mining nodes rose from 34.2% to 45.0% of all spawn points — from 1251 to 1647 veins available at once.
Copper in Elwynn Forest 28 -> 37, Durotar 30 -> 40, The Barrens 40 -> 53.
Duskwood: copper 10 -> 13, tin 7 -> 9, iron 5 -> 7.
Thorium areas in the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor had their active locations raised by roughly a third as well.
🌱
Higher herb and lumber density
Herb and lumber nodes were raised by about 20% using the same mechanism.
Concurrent herb nodes rose from 26.6% to 31.8% — from 2506 to 2998.
Concurrent lumber nodes rose from 34.4% to 41.1% — from 1030 to 1232.
The forge and anvil summoned by the kit used the wrong model and size.
The anvil now uses the correct model, and both the forge and anvil were resized consistently.
Both were renamed to "Blazing Forge Kit: Forge / Anvil" to match the kit.
🔎
Maintenance note
Data-only updates requiring no rebuild, applied and verified on the test realm through restart and item-by-item checks before going live. Two maintenance restarts took place today.
Objects skipped at server startup dropped from 698 to 9; the remaining 9 belong to a separate batch of custom objects and will be handled later.
The density pass adjusted 359 pool settings across 415 zone gathering groups; nothing was lowered.
Per-vein harvest count, gathering skill gain and loot contents are all unchanged; fishing nodes and battleground nodes were left out.
If a node still fails to spawn, or nodes feel sparse or clumped in some zone, please report the zone name and rough coordinates.
Server-wide graveyard and battleground resurrection point corrections
Newer client versions changed the internal IDs of resurrection points, and the server data had not been updated, leaving some areas pointing at invalid graveyards. All graveyard references have now been corrected.
Corrected graveyard references server-wide; there are no longer any invalid resurrection points. Previously, releasing the spirit in some areas left players at their corpse.
Quel'Thalas, Alah'Thalas and Amani'Alor now have correct resurrection points.
Graveyard coverage expanded from 205 to 255 entries, adding configuration for The Barrens, Gilneas City, Northwind, Thorn Gorge and others.
Faction assignment was corrected for a number of zones, so Alliance and Horde players resurrect at their intended graveyards.
⚔️
Battleground resurrection points
Battleground starting locations and capture-point graveyards were corrected along with the same ID update.
Alterac Valley: resurrection point IDs for capture points and main bases have been updated.
Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch and the other battlegrounds had their starting and resurrection points corrected as well.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side only update, verified on the test realm through build, startup and data checks before going live.
Custom areas on this realm (the Dire Maul wings, Timbermaw Hold, Dragonmaw Retreat, Stormwrought Ruins, Frostmane Hollow and others) kept their graveyard configuration through this full re-import.
If releasing the spirit still leaves you at your corpse, a resurrection point is in the wrong place, or a battleground graveyard is incorrect, please report the area, faction and exact location.
This maintenance fixes creature spawns, quest givers and flight paths in several locations.
Tower of Azora: added elemental spawns and the associated quest giver.
Loch Modan: restored trogg spawns, increasing the count from 205 to 275.
Thelsamar: fixed the gryphon master Thorgrum Borrelson appearing twice; there is now only one.
Blackstone Isle: corrected the gossip-triggered flight paths, which previously used invalid path IDs and could fail.
Fixed the exploration trigger for quest 39001.
🏕️
Survival skill training
Survival skill gains were moved from hardcoded core logic to data-driven configuration, with behaviour preserved.
Bright Campfire's survival skill gain is now handled through training and data configuration instead of hardcoded core logic.
Existing tent-rest behaviour is unchanged.
⚔️
Warrior - Shield Specialization and Flurry
Fixed calculation and trigger issues in three Warrior talents. These previously relied on generic handling and now use dedicated scripts.
Shield Specialization: corrected the rage gained on block; the amount was previously miscalculated across ranks.
Flurry: fixed charges not being consumed by melee swings, which effectively extended the buff.
Slam: the cast-time reduction while Flurry is active now applies correctly.
⚰️
Instance graveyards and spirit release
Fixed missing graveyard configuration in several instance areas, where releasing the spirit left the player at the corpse instead of teleporting them to the spirit healer.
Dire Maul: fixed releasing the spirit leaving players at their corpse. Only the main area had a graveyard configured, and it pointed at an unrelated battleground graveyard; all six areas now use the Feralas Dire Maul graveyard.
Naxxramas (The Upper Necropolis): fixed releasing the spirit leaving players at their corpse in this area. It now matches the main area and sends players to the Blackwood Lake graveyard in Eastern Plaguelands, from which they can return to the portal.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side only update, verified on the test realm through build, startup and data checks before going live.
This maintenance covers world content and survival training only; no class balance changes are included.
For missing spawns, unavailable quests or incorrect flight destinations, please report the location, NPC name and exact steps.
Rogue talents, poison scaling and trainer cost corrections
This pass fixes trigger timing and resolution across several Rogue talents. Most notably, Shadow of Death previously failed to detonate when its damage cap was reached.
Shadow of Death: fixed the detonation not firing when the accumulated damage cap was reached - that damage was previously wasted. It now resolves correctly both at cap and on natural expiry.
Blade Flurry: fixed triggering three times per swing.
Setup: moved to an aura script with corrected proc conditions.
Mark for Death: added the missing proc and buff value calculation.
Blackjack: fixed damage-reduction aura application against immune or resisted targets, and on timeout or break.
Remorseless Attacks: removed an incorrect spell_affect override.
Taste for Blood: implemented.
Vigor: removed the 8-second proc cooldown.
☠️
Rogue - Poisons and damage scaling
The four poisons now scale with attack power per rank, and Rupture and Eviscerate gained creature-type bonuses.
Instant, Deadly, Corrosive and Dissolvent Poison: added attack-power scaling for each rank.
Noxious Assault: added attack-power percentage damage and poison procs, plus the missing spell_chain entries.
Corrosive Poison II is now learned together with Deadly Poison V.
Cloaked in Shadows: added absorb calculation.
Rupture and Eviscerate: damage now includes creature-type bonuses.
💰
Rogue trainer cost and level corrections
Rogue trainer costs and level requirements were corrected against a known-good source; the net effect is cheaper training.
Training costs were corrected for 114 Rogue spells; most are reduced by about 10%.
Ambush Rank 2 now requires level 14 instead of 18, with its cost adjusted accordingly.
Blade Flurry and Corrosive Poison training costs increased slightly.
Already-learned abilities are unaffected and need not be retrained.
🔎
Maintenance note
A server-side only update, verified on the test realm through build, startup, script-binding and data checks before going live.
This maintenance is limited to Rogue content; existing fixes for other classes are unchanged.
For missing procs, incorrect values or unexpected training costs, please include the spell name, rank, combo points, poison used and the full trigger sequence.
Keyring expansion, tradable raid loot fixes and shutdown stability
The keyring is no longer unlocked in stages by level; all characters get the full 32-slot capacity after this maintenance.
The keyring previously unlocked 4 / 8 / 12 slots by level; it is now a flat 32 slots, available to low-level characters as well.
Keys already stored are unaffected and need no rearranging.
💰
Tradable raid loot corrections
Corrected the tradability checks applied to raid drops after looting, along with the related loot handling paths.
Raid loot tradability is now resolved through unified logic, preventing inconsistent trade conditions on some items after looting.
Loot handling, group distribution and the related spell-effect paths were adjusted to keep the result consistent.
🔧
Server stability
Fixed a possible hang during server shutdown, making maintenance restarts faster and more reliable.
Network thread shutdown handling was corrected so restarts no longer stall during the shutdown phase.
This only affects the maintenance restart process and changes no in-game mechanics.
🔎
Maintenance note
This is a server-side only update, verified on the test realm through build, startup and in-game checks before going live.
The 32-slot keyring was confirmed in-game for both display and use.
If you see an incorrect keyring size, raid loot that cannot be traded, or any other issue, please report it with your character name, the item, and the exact steps.
portal
Quest Portal Fix
Fixed Deino's portal to Amani'Alor in the Valley of Spirits, Orgrimmar.
For eligible characters, the portal now reliably appears on reachable ground in front of the character.
Restored the missing portal entities and script binding so it can be used to enter Amani'Alor.
Warrior mechanics - Bloodthirst, Shield Slam and Sweeping Strikes
Effective after this maintenance. This update corrects Warrior talent links, weapon conditions, damage and threat calculations to match expected 1.18.1 behavior.
Bloodthirst: corrects attack-power scaling and duplicate talent modifiers.
Shield Slam: corrects dispel chance, threat, and shield-block-value scaling.
Sweeping Strikes: uses stable script handling to avoid extra-target and proc-chain issues.
Rend, Revenge, Bloodrage, Unbridled Wrath, Blood Drinker, Defensive Tactics and Master Strike links are corrected together.
Weapon specializations only apply under the proper weapon condition; the realm's existing Polearm Master reach behavior is preserved.
🔎
Maintenance note
No client update is required. Please relog after maintenance. For any remaining issue, report the character, spell, talent rank, weapon setup and reproduction steps.
This entry takes effect with the server restart.
Player testing feedback on duration, triggers and values remains welcome for further evidence-based tuning.
7.28 · World object scale fix · original sizes restored, special scaling made explicit
This entry takes effect with the current maintenance and applies after the server restart. World data only — no client update is required.
Corrects an earlier incorrect assumption about world object scaling: affected objects have been restored to their original size, so objects that appeared oversized or shrunken now display normally.
Only objects that genuinely require a non-default scale are now scaled explicitly, preventing another server-wide size drift.
If you still see an object at the wrong size, please report its name, map and coordinates, with a screenshot where possible.
7.27 · Paladin seals, judgements and protection procs · Warrior Dual Wield training fix
This entry takes effect with the current maintenance and applies after the server restart. Core, script and world-data changes passed build, startup and configuration checks on the test realm.
This pass focuses on Paladin seals, judgements, protection procs and related talents, and fixes the Warrior Dual Wield training entry point.
Existing fixes for other classes are unchanged; custom mechanics such as Shaman Flame Shock attack-power scaling and Warlock Demonic Precision were preserved during the merge.
For any issue after maintenance, please include class, spell and talent rank, equipped weapon type and the full trigger sequence.
✨
Paladin · Holy and Retribution
Added missing ranks for several seals and judgements, and unified spell-power scaling across the related abilities.
Holy Shock: added Rank 4 and a healing-power based cooldown reset.
Seal of Wisdom and Judgement of Wisdom: added Ranks 4 and 5.
Seal of Righteousness: spell-power coefficients are now explicitly 10% for one-handed and 12.5% for two-handed weapons, scaled by weapon speed.
Holy Strike: all ranks now use 71% spell-power scaling.
Crusader Strike: all ranks now use 20% spell-power scaling.
Seal of Command: proc rate raised from 7 to 9 per minute.
Daybreak: critical-heal bonus now uses its intended aura behaviour.
Repentance: now applies a secondary damage proc against creatures immune to the control effect.
🛡️
Paladin · Protection and procs
Completed the Protection proc chain. Zealous Defense previously existed only as data configuration with no working logic on the realm, and is implemented here for the first time.
Zealous Defense is now implemented: it triggers correctly on block. The effect previously had no server-side handling on this realm.
Righteous Strikes now correctly procs Zealous Defense.
Holy Shield: threat modifier set to 1.5x and scaling unified to 33% spell power.
Shield Specialization: mana return restored to a 5-second internal cooldown.
Vengeful Strikes: fixed the Holy Might proc and the Zeal buff handling.
Consecration: damage ramping now runs through unified script handling; total damage over the full duration is unchanged.
⚔️
Warrior · Dual Wield training
Fixed missing Dual Wield training entries on several Warrior trainers, including the capital-city trainers.
10 of the 39 Warrior trainers had no Dual Wield entry, including the trainers in Stormwind, Ironforge, Orgrimmar and Thunder Bluff, so players could not learn it in the capitals.
All Warrior trainers now offer Dual Wield at level 10, priced consistently with the trainers that already had it.
Rogue and Hunter Dual Wield training requirements are unchanged.
🔍
Testing feedback
Server build, startup, script-binding and data checks are complete; gameplay validation remains valuable for Paladin protection and seal combinations.
Zealous Defense is newly implemented; please prioritise verifying block triggers, proc frequency and damage reduction.
For missing procs, incorrect values or cooldown issues, please include class, talent rank, spell rank, weapon type and a combat-log screenshot.
7.25 · Shaman Elemental Weapons, Shields and Totem mechanics
This entry takes effect with the maintenance deployment. Core, script and world-data changes passed build, startup and configuration checks on the test realm.
This pass focuses on Shaman elemental weapons, elemental shields, totems and healing trigger chains without changing existing fixes for other classes.
For any issue after maintenance, please include spell rank, talent rank, main/off-hand imbues, current shield charges and the full trigger sequence.
⚡
Elemental Weapons and weapon imbues
Completed the links between all four Elemental Weapons aspects and main/off-hand imbues so weapon hits, procs and their special effects use the intended calculation chain.
Elemental Weapons now evaluates Flametongue, Frostbrand, Windfury and Rockbiter effects from the active matching weapon imbue.
Rockbiter-related shield building and absorption now use real melee triggers instead of unrelated weapon effects.
Frostbrand critical conditions again check the intended Frost Shock target state.
Rockbiter, Flametongue, Frostbrand and Windfury temporary weapon imbues now use their one-hour duration.
🛡️
Elemental Shields and Lightning Strike
Shield exclusivity, charge consumption, proc cooldowns and talent interactions now use one consistent processing path.
Lightning Shield, Water Shield and Earth Shield remain mutually exclusive and now handle charges and proc cooldowns correctly.
Lightning Strike now consumes and triggers the active elemental shield through the intended path.
Stable Shields and Improved Water Shield recalculate their benefits from the current shield charges.
Water Shield charge changes now immediately refresh related mana-regeneration calculations.
🔥
Totems and Elemental interactions
Completed links between Fire Totems, owner stats, target selection and totem-related talents.
Fire damage totems now inherit the Shaman spell-hit and spell-critical stats for their real hit and crit rolls.
Molten Blast now focuses the current Searing Totem target and refreshes its related Flame Shock interaction.
Improved Fire Totems, Enhancing Totems and Totemic Mastery now use unified script handling to avoid duplicate stacks or missing effects.
Totemic Recall now refunds mana from the actual totem cost with talent modifiers applied.
🌊
Restoration and Enhancement trigger chains
Corrected triggers, values and duration links across several Restoration and Enhancement talents and spells.
Healing Way now correctly affects its intended Healing Wave and Chain Heal resolutions.
Tidal Surge, Undertow, Calming Winds, Improved Fire Totems and Improved Water Shield now use their intended trigger conditions.
Earthquake, Call of Earth, Stormstrike and their Nature-damage interactions now have complete script and data configuration.
Healing-totem and shield-related effects now refresh correctly with target, charge and cooldown state.
🔍
Testing feedback
Server build, startup and key data checks are complete; gameplay validation remains valuable for complex combinations of imbues, totems and shields.
For missing procs, incorrect charges or values, please include class, talent rank, spell rank, equipped imbues and a combat-log screenshot.
7.24 · Rogue talent fixes · Shadow of Death, Envenom and Improved Ambush
This entry is deployed with the current maintenance and takes effect after the server restart. The changes passed build, startup and data checks on the test realm.
This maintenance is limited to Rogue talent and spell triggers; existing fixes for other classes are unchanged.
Please continue to report behavior across combo-point, poison-rank and critical-hit scenarios after maintenance.
🌑
Rogue · Shadow of Death
Moved damage accumulation and detonation into a dedicated talent script to avoid double resolution between legacy generic handling and the current mechanic.
The accumulation cap now scales from the combo points used when the effect is applied and resolves on expiry.
Reaching the cap resolves the effect early, preventing duplicate detonations or missed resolution.
☠️
Rogue · Envenom and poison modifiers
Completed spell-family matching for Envenom effects so related poison modifiers enter the intended calculation chain.
Corrected both relevant Envenom effect masks to prevent missing or invalid poison-modifier matches.
This does not rebalance poison base values; it restores the intended talent and spell linkage.
🗡️
Rogue · Improved Ambush
Narrowed the trigger family so the talent responds only to intended Ambush critical-hit scenarios.
Improved Ambush now handles energy return only when Ambush critically hits.
Unrelated abilities such as Backstab and Sinister Strike no longer trigger the talent incorrectly.
🔍
Testing feedback
Server build, startup and configuration checks are complete; live gameplay feedback remains important for edge cases.
For any issue, please include the spell name, talent rank, combo points, poison used and the exact trigger sequence.
7.23 · Class spell compatibility · Pet aura and proc fixes
Added missing 1.18.1 spell effects, target routing and proc modifiers, with conflict checks against existing custom mechanics.
Quest reputation reward effects are now executed by the server so affected quests grant reputation correctly.
Pet aura effects now route to the caster's pet instead of being applied to the player.
Proc-chance and proc-cooldown modifiers now participate in the final trigger calculation.
Deprecated reactive states are isolated so they no longer interfere with current class mechanics.
🏹
Hunter · Kill Command response window
Resolved a conflict between generic reactive handling and the Hunter-specific implementation.
Kill Command now keeps its intended 10-second response window instead of being cleared by the generic 4-second timer.
Deprecated pet-critical reactive state handling no longer interferes with current Hunter effects.
🔥
Warlock · Pet aura target fixes
Corrected the target ownership of shared pet-aura effects used by demon buffs and control effects.
Blessing of the Black Book now applies to the active demon pet.
Demonic Precision ranks now affect the pet rather than the player.
Related demon-control effects now use consistent pet-target rules.
⚡
Shaman · Elemental shield modifiers
Completed spell-family matching for shield charges and proc cooldown modifiers.
Stable Shields now recognizes Lightning Shield, Water Shield and Earth Shield without matching unrelated spells.
Shield charge and proc-cooldown modifiers now enter their intended calculation paths.
🛡️
Paladin · Seal of Justice proc fix
Corrected an invalid spell-family reference used by the improved talent.
Improved Seal of Justice now modifies Seal of Justice only.
It no longer matches unrelated abilities such as Holy Shield.
🌍
World content · Silithus reputation reward
Completed the quest reputation effect used by the Silithus turn-in flow.
Fixed a case where the Silithyst turn-in could grant its quest reward without the intended reputation gain.
🔍
Testing note
This pass touches shared spell execution and proc paths. Build, startup and conflict regression checks are complete; gameplay reports across class and pet combinations remain welcome.
When reporting an issue, please include the spell name, rank and the exact trigger scenario.
7.22 · Full class-spell regression · Druid scaling, talent and periodic-effect fixes · Dungeon encounter polish
Frenzied Regeneration now calculates healing from stamina, current rage and the spell rules correctly.
Rejuvenation and Regrowth replacement or removal now connects to Efflorescence effects correctly.
Periodic effects now handle replacement, removal and recasting without stale or prematurely removed states.
🌙
Druid · Talent mechanics follow-up
Following the first scaling and periodic-effect pass, this update completes several Balance, Feral and Restoration talent proc chains, ownership checks and benefit calculations.
Balance of All Things now refunds mana when Wrath hits a target affected by the caster's Insect Swarm, while Starfire gains its intended critical-strike benefit against the caster's Moonfire.
Eclipse now activates the matching effect from Wrath or Starfire, with mutual exclusion, benefit calculation and the 30-second internal cooldown applied correctly.
Aessina's Bloom now links Healing Touch with the caster's Rejuvenation or Regrowth correctly and refunds mana when its conditions are met.
Preservation now increases Regrowth's periodic healing when the target also has the caster's Rejuvenation.
Savage Fury now restores the intended self-healing from affected melee attacks; Ferocious Bite can refresh the caster's Rake and Rip and grant a combo point according to the talent rules.
Open Wounds now scales correctly with the number of bleed effects applied by the caster.
Ancient Brutality is now restricted to the intended bleed effects instead of unrelated periodic damage.
Swiftmend now calculates the consumed Rejuvenation or Regrowth healing from its remaining ticks correctly.
Ferocious Bite now recognizes spell ranks correctly and calculates damage from combo points, Attack Power, remaining Energy and related talents.
An invalid Wrath script binding was removed so it no longer interferes with Eclipse or Balance of All Things proc handling.

With the World Cup over, the tavern opens a recruiting season: sign a referral in your own name and bring a friend under the stars.
Active players can redeem a referral, signed in their own name, from Account → Referrals. It unlocks at 10 hours played in the last 30 days; the more you play the cheaper it gets and the more you may issue — Regular from 10h (100 coins each, 1/month), Patron from 30h (50 coins, 2/month), Guest of Honour from 100h (33 coins, 3/month).
Each referral is single-use and valid for 14 days from redemption; it expires afterwards and the fee is not refunded.
The page can generate a shareable invite card carrying its own QR code — your friend scans it, lands on the registration page, and the code is already filled in.
Referrals may only be given freely to a friend you know, or used for your own alt. Selling, auctioning, trading or profiting from one in any form is forbidden: the referral is voided, redemption rights are permanently revoked, serious cases lead to a ban, and the invited account is reviewed as well.
🎁
Rewards for Both Sides, and a Retired Mount
A referral is not a one-off: the further your friend goes, the more you both receive.
Newcomers receive 100 N coins on registering with a referral, then 50 / 50 / 100 more as their character reaches level 20 / 40 / 60 — 300 in total.
Referrers get their redemption fee back in full when the invited friend reaches level 20, then 100 N coins at 40 and 200 at 60.
If your friend reaches level 60 and you have genuine shared playtime (grouped together, with them actually earning experience during it), the referrer receives the retired Winter Veil Hippogryph. Once per referrer; later qualifying invitees convert to N coins.
Your own alts, and accounts sharing your network, do not earn these milestone rewards — the referral itself still works. Family members on one connection may appeal for manual review.
Rewards are granted automatically with an in-game letter; there is nothing to claim.
🏁
World Cup Wrapped Up
All 102 fixtures are settled. Betting and the World Cup feature have been retired, and the homepage headline slot now carries the recruitment campaign.
The All-Star collection is still open — claim your remaining packs and rewards before 26 July.

Site Fixes
Fixed screenshot uploads failing with "magic_mismatch". If a picture's real format did not match its file extension — a PNG saved as .jpg, which is common after renaming — it was rejected outright; uploads are now identified by the file's actual content.
Clicking Submit Bug from the homepage while logged out now returns you to the bug page after signing in, instead of dropping you on your account page.
Fixed slow page loads. Every page render used to probe the server's public address synchronously, which stalled for a dozen seconds whenever that link misbehaved; probing now runs in the background. Web fonts are also served from this site, so the first paint no longer waits on an external font service.
🚪
Demon Gate · Summoning sequence restored
Fixed Demon Gate completing its countdown without producing the Felguard.
The gate now completes its roughly six-second summoning wind-up and remains a non-interactive spell visual during that time.
When the countdown ends, the Felguard is summoned correctly instead of leaving only the gate behind.
The summon is correctly owned by the casting player, preventing ownerless or uncontrollable results.
🧭
Deadwood Village · Creature pathing restored
Fixed enemies in Deadwood Village entering combat but standing still instead of pursuing players.
The cause was a cell-wide deep-water flag incorrectly removing raised shoreline in the same cell from navigation, leaving a village-wide pathing hole.
Only the affected navigation tile was rebuilt. Genuine deep water remains blocked, so creatures do not gain underwater or terrain-ignoring routes.
All 48 nearby creature spawn points now resolve to valid navigation positions; both wandering and patrolling enemies can path and pursue normally.
Creature spawn locations, wander radii and patrol routes were not changed; this is a navigation-layer correction only.
📜
Quest · Essence of Purification supplies
Fixed the quest becoming unavailable after a single completion.
Essence of Purification supplies is repeatable again and can be accepted after turn-in as intended.
Existing completion history and inventory are left intact; no quest abandonment or GM assistance is required.
A batch of upstream updates covering quest items, trainers, and Blackstone Isle.
Fixed the items handed out by 60 quests — some referenced the wrong item ids, which could give you the wrong object or stall the next step.
Added missing quest-giver and quest-ender links for several NPCs and objects; quests that previously could not be picked up or turned in now work.
Corrected the required level on a large number of trainer spells, some of which were too high and some too low.
🏝️
Blackstone Isle: Survival Trainer
Added the Survival trainer Feebeld, and filled out the full teaching lists for the island's trainers.
🌿
Survival Profession
Survival is now protected the same way Cooking, First Aid and Fishing are. It was the only one of the four secondary professions left off that list, which could let its progress be reset unexpectedly in some situations.
🌲
Timbermaw Hold
Tuned the damage of one of Rotgrowl's area abilities — it was high enough to outright kill cloth wearers, and is now back in a sane range.
Timbermaw Hold's bosses suffered from abilities that never fired, fights that stalled mid-encounter, and summons that vanished on their own. Every encounter in the wing has had a systematic pass. The mechanics themselves are left for you to discover.
Fixed several bosses whose abilities did not fire, or which stopped acting partway through the fight.
Key encounter warnings now appear in the centre of the screen so the raid can react in time.
Fixed summoned creatures spawning below the floor, being unable to move, or despawning on their own.
Completing Archdruid Kronn's trial now leaves a lootable chest behind.
⚔️
Timbermaw Hold: Creatures & Loot
Trash creature abilities have been filled out. Several different creatures previously shared one identical kit; each family now fights according to its own role.
Fixed several bosses dropping far less gold than they should.
🈶
Localization
Timbermaw Hold boss dialogue and warnings are now localized.
Added localized names for several creatures and objects inside the instance.
If names still show in English, delete the client's WDB folder and log in again — creature and object names are cached client-side and do not refresh on their own.
🐾
Class Fixes
Druid: fixed an incorrect duration on Rip.
7.17 · Timbermaw Hold Brazier Fix · Thunder Bluff 1.18.1 · Hateforge Quarry Boss Damage Fix
The Timbermaw Hold quest chain was dead-ended at Ancient Furbolg Remedies: the three reagents it asks for existed nowhere in the world, so nobody could ever get past it. They are now in place.
Ancient Furbolg Remedies can now be completed. The three world elites it calls for are now in place — in Un'Goro Crater, on the Isle of Dread in Feralas, and on Alcaz Island in Dustwallow Marsh. The quest text tells you where to look for each of them.
Ursol had been placed somewhere unreachable and could never be encountered. He is now where he belongs.
Fixed Loktanag's name displaying in English.
🔥
Timbermaw Hold Fix
"Eternal Essence of Purification" (Timbermaw Hold): Fixed an incorrect cooldown.
Timbermaw Hold: Several objects and creatures now display localized names.
🐂
Thunder Bluff Updated to 1.18.1
Thunder Bluff: Two NPCs have been added — Artahla Starstrider (Priest Trainer) and Suda Steelweaver (Thorn Gorge Battlemaster). Previously only the Alliance had a Thorn Gorge battlemaster (Ingwelda Wildbrand); the Horde now has one as well.
Thunder Bluff: Nida Winterhoof (Herbalism Supplier) had a completely empty inventory and sold nothing. She now properly stocks Empty, Leaded, Crystal and Imbued Vials, along with an assortment of flowers.
Thunder Bluff: The city's mailboxes have been repositioned.
⚔️
Hateforge Quarry Final Boss Damage Fix
Hateforge Quarry: Har'gesh Doomcaller's melee damage was incorrectly multiplied by 6.5, letting this 5-man final boss hit well-geared tanks for over 4000 per swing — rivalling a raid boss and far beyond its intended strength. The multiplier has been corrected.
Hateforge Quarry: He still hits the hardest of any boss in the dungeon, but is no longer roughly ten times stronger than the others. Thanks to the player who reported it.
Timbermaw Hold has received a comprehensive pass. Most of its bosses previously had no combat abilities, and their names and states were incomplete. All of that is now in place and the raid is ready to be challenged properly. The fight mechanics themselves are left for you to discover.
Boss fights — all 10 bosses in the raid now have their full set of combat abilities and mechanics, instead of standing there defenceless.
Boss names — every boss's Chinese name has been corrected and unified to match the raid journal.
Boss status — bosses now carry their proper elite status and resistances, and can no longer be trivially locked down by ordinary crowd control.
Missing bosses — Ursol, previously impossible to encounter, has been added; the hidden boss Peroth'arn can now be brought out within the raid.
Trash — several trash creatures have had their missing abilities restored.
Raid reset — the lockout is now 5 days, in line with raids of the same size.
Entering during combat — the raid can no longer be entered while a boss fight is underway; access returns to normal once the fight ends.
Quest localization — all 41 Timbermaw Hold quests are now fully translated into Chinese.
Quest fixes — fixed several quests that could not be completed because their objectives were missing.
🦅
Flight Points Restored for Recovered Characters
Flight Paths: Fixed a widespread loss of flight points on level 60 characters recovered through Character Restoration — flight masters such as the one at Grom'gol offered no destinations at all, and the worst-affected characters were left with only their starting location. Every affected character now has the complete set of flight points for their faction.
Flight Paths: This also covers the Gadgetzan ↔ Tel'Abim (Banana Island) route and special locations such as the Alliance Ironforge Airfield.
Flight Paths: Affected characters simply need to log in once more to see all of their flight points.
⏱️
Ability Cooldown Desync Fixes
Paladin — Holy Shield: Fixed the ability remaining unusable for about 2 seconds after its cooldown had visibly finished — the icon counted down 10 seconds while the server enforced 12. Both are now 10 seconds, so it is ready the instant the cooldown ends.
Shaman — Earthquake: The same mismatch — the icon counted down 16 seconds while the server enforced 18. Both are now 16 seconds.
"Enchanted Thorium Bar" (Enchanting): Fixed the recipe being impossible to craft — it listed Illusion Dust as the required reagent but actually demanded Dream Dust, so even a full set of materials produced nothing. It now correctly requires Illusion Dust, matching what the recipe displays.
🐎
Mount, Companion & Item Data Support
This update adds server-side database support for a batch of mounts, companions, gear, and profession recipes so they are correctly recognized and displayed in-game.
Mounts — added data support for: Spotted Qiraji Battle Tank, Black Drake, Plagued Riding Spider, Molten Corehound, Felforged Dreadhound.
Companions — added data support for: Reclusive Spider, Shadewing Bat, Tropical Monkey, Vibrant Parrot.
Gear — added item data for the 6-piece Executor's cloth (mage) set.
Recipes — added item data for 6 profession recipes (Enchanting, Alchemy, Tailoring, Leatherworking, and more).
Glyph — added the Druid Glyph of the Tainted Wild God, altering the appearance of Bear / Dire Bear Form.
🏰
Guild Name Change Token Fix
Fixed the Guild Name Change Token not working, clarified how to use it, and Chinese guild names are now supported.
Fixed the Guild Name Change Token, which previously did nothing and rejected Chinese guild names.
How to use: as a guild master holding the token, type .guildname "New Guild Name" (the name must be wrapped in double quotes). Chinese names are now supported.
After renaming, guild members should relog once to see the new guild name.
🌲
Felwood: Quark Quest Objects Added
Added the world objects required by the Quark quest series in Felwood's Irontree Woods.
Added Ironvine Roots and Quark's Cargo around Irontree Woods, completing the objects needed for quests such as 'Quark's Shack', 'Tobacco Thieves', and 'Quark's Justice' (previously blocked by missing objects).
7.14 · Quest Fixes · Mount & Companion Restoration
"Ferocitas the Dream Eater" (Teldrassil): Ferocitas now correctly drops Tallonkai's Jewel — the loot entry pointed at the wrong item, making the quest impossible to complete. Live immediately.
🐎
Mount & Companion Restoration
After using character restoration, a small number of mounts or companions were not restored for some players. We've completed a full audit and re-granted everything that was genuinely missing.
Restored the missing mounts and companions for roughly 900 characters — over three thousand entries in total, all now delivered.
No downtime or restart was needed. If your character is currently online, please log out and back in once to see them in your Mount & Companion collection; offline characters will receive them on next login.
Our audit also confirmed that many previously suspected-missing mounts/companions had in fact already been delivered — these were not re-granted, keeping your collection accurate.
If you still find a mount or companion missing, please open a ticket and we'll investigate further.
7.13 · World Content Sync: Northwind / Grim combat polish · page fixes · new transport
Synced a batch of upstream world-content updates, live as of this server restart:
Combat, abilities and patrols for creatures around |||MARK|||Northwind|||MARK||| (the jousting grounds) and the |||MARK|||Grim Reaches|||MARK||| got a polish pass — closer to the intended design.
Corrected the text on |||MARK|||21 in-world pages|||MARK||| (books / signs).
Added a scheduled |||MARK|||transport|||MARK||| between |||MARK|||Moonhoof Village|||MARK||| and |||MARK|||Shadowprey Village|||MARK|||.
Fixed two long-broken talents in the Combat and Assassination trees.
Rogue: Blade Rush now truly shortens the time between Energy ticks by 1 ms per Agility (e.g. ~1.4 s per tick at 600 Agility, floor 1 s), instead of wrongly inflating the tick amount.
Rogue: Taste for Blood no longer silently fails — Rupture now correctly gains +4/6 s duration and grants 1%/2% melee damage per combo point for its full duration, even on miss.
Rogue: Camouflage's stealth-level bonus (+3~15) verified working server-side; report back with specifics if it still feels off.
7.10 · Class Mechanics, Quests & World Interactions
Fixed several class abilities and item effects that incorrectly scaled with spell power.
Paladin: Holy Strike's holy damage no longer scales with spell power (its T2 set-triggered effect and flat weapon-effect damage are flat again).
Druid: the Poison Bolt from Idol of Corrupted Emerald is now flat Nature damage and no longer scales with spell power.
Shaman: confirmed Molten Blast casts at range (36 yd); the earlier 'melee-only' report is resolved.
🏆
Honor Settlement · Alliance Ladder Corrected
Some players reported this week's Alliance honor standings looked off. We traced it to a couple of admin/test characters that slipped onto the Alliance honor ladder and pushed every real player down a rank. Fixed:
Removed the admin/test characters that had slipped onto the Alliance honor ladder.
All real Alliance players' standings for the week are corrected — the rightful #1 is back on top.
The Horde ladder was already correct and is unaffected.
Live as of this server restart; if you were online, relog to refresh your standing.
Additionally, a player banned for violations was removed from this week's Alliance honor ladder; everyone below moved up accordingly.
🪄
Class Mechanics & Restore Rules
Resolved recent Mage, Shaman, Rogue, and Warlock mechanics reports.
Mage: the T3.5 Arcane 5-piece now correctly grants 6 seconds of free casts after Presence of Mind is consumed.
Shaman: Frostbrand no longer triggers Flame Ascendant through Elemental Weapons; Flametongue no longer double-applies the legacy spell-power formula and now uses the single 1.18.1 coefficient.
Warlock: Demon Gate now treats the player as the actual summoner, placing and controlling the Felguard correctly.
Rogue/restore: future restores no longer write the legacy Surprise Attack spell. The obsolete 45603 spell and stale action buttons were also removed from all 43 affected restored rogues, while the current 52511 talent and dual-spec data remain unchanged.
📜

Fixed a batch of warlock summoning, soul shard, and demonic sacrifice issues.
Improved Soul Fire no longer wrongly creates an extra Soul Shard on every Soul Fire cast.
Conflagrate no longer consumes Immolate — the Immolate DoT keeps ticking, and Conflagrate stays castable while Immolate is up.
You can now summon Infernal/Doomguard while a minion is out; it dismisses the current pet instead of failing or wasting the cooldown.
Summoning a greater demon now correctly clears the Demonic Sacrifice buff.
After sacrificing your pet, the buffs it granted you (Blood Pact, Soul Link, etc.) are now correctly removed.

Shaman · Tidal Relic Water Shield Frost
Fixed the Tidal relic's Water Shield frost trigger condition and gear interaction.
|||MARK|||Trigger fix|||MARK|||: the Tidal frost should fire whenever Water Shield consumes a charge. It was previously anchored to 'on being hit', so Lightning Strike actively consuming a charge did not trigger it — now fixed: actively consuming a charge (e.g. Lightning Strike) also triggers the Tidal AoE frost.
|||MARK|||Can trigger gear procs|||MARK|||: the Water Shield frost is magic damage and now correctly triggers 'on dealing a harmful spell' gear/trinket procs (e.g. Sigil of Ancient Accord); previously it never did.

Based on test-realm feedback, we reworked how the Elemental Weapons talent interacts with Flametongue, Windfury, Frostbrand and Rockbiter weapon imbues. This goes live after the 5-minute maintenance restart; no client download is required.
|||MARK|||Flametongue Weapon|||MARK|||: Elemental Weapons now correctly triggers the short fire-damage boost on hit, scaling the Flametongue Weapon and Flame Shock bonus by talent rank.
|||MARK|||Windfury Weapon|||MARK|||: Windfury extra attacks now correctly grant the attack-speed buff; it is capped at 2 stacks to avoid leftover old configuration producing abnormal stacks.

Battleground Flag & Pet Trainer Fixes
Fixed dropped battleground flags that could not be recaptured, and hunter pet trainers wrongly listing player abilities.

|||MARK|||Pet trainer skill list cleaned up|||MARK||| — hunter pet trainers were wrongly listing player abilities (Shooting / Beast Mastery); these have been removed, leaving only Beast Training pet passives.
Live on the production realm, effective immediately.

|||MARK|||Icicles|||MARK|||: fixed Icicles not applying its effect correctly and restored its spell-power scaling, allowing it to function as a proper Frost burst spell.
|||MARK|||Flash Freeze|||MARK|||: fixed Frost spells triggering Flash Freeze far too often, in some cases almost guaranteed; it now follows the 1.18.1 behavior and converts correctly when the target is immune to freezing.
|||MARK|||Flash Freeze + Icicles|||MARK|||: Flash Freeze now properly resets Icicles cooldown, and a successful Icicles cast consumes that trigger window to prevent lingering or repeated abnormal resets.
|||MARK|||Frostbite|||MARK|||: restored the normal freeze-proc path instead of incorrectly replacing it with Flash Freeze.
|||MARK|||Arcane Concentration|||MARK|||: added an 8-second internal cooldown to reduce abnormal back-to-back procs and rotation swings.

Server-side fixes only; no client download required.
Live on production after this maintenance restart.

Survival Profession · No More Reset on Tier-Up
We've finally root-caused and fixed a long-standing recurring issue — training the next tier of the Survival profession would wrongly reset your skill value to 1. This time we patched the underlying skill-chain table, so all future tier-ups will preserve your current value.
|||MARK|||The fix|||MARK|||: training Journeyman / Expert / Artisan Survivalist at a trainer no longer resets your Survival skill back to 1 (the bug had hit 7 players since 5-17)
|||MARK|||Restored|||MARK|||: the 4 affected characters on account 'SLN1230' have had their Survival skill restored to 70/75 (please relog to refresh)
|||MARK|||Note|||MARK|||: prior "fixes" only restored individual players' values without fixing the underlying data table, so the bug kept recurring. This time the root table was corrected and is live without a restart

AI Battleground · Smarter AI & Combat Overhaul
AI teammates are smarter and more human, with richer per-class play:
Tactics: handles the nearest top-priority target; groups to strike the enemy flag carrier when both flags are out; fights back when attacked
Chase: stays mounted until in attack range of a flag carrier, then layers control (Hamstring/Frost Nova/stun/root/fear)
Flag running: carriers/runners fight back, CC pursuers, and use Swiftness / Free Action potions to escape
Stealth: only reveals stealthers up close (line-of-sight), not from across the field
Chat: calls out on the battleground channel (defend / organize a push) and taunts after kill streaks
Casters: much tighter cast cadence and higher damage; Frost Mage slows are more prominent
Dual specs: Druids roll Balance (Moonkin) or Feral (Cat); Shamans roll Elemental or Enhancement (dual-wield + Windfury)
Priests use shadow damage when no one needs healing
Movement: faces the nearest enemy when idle, and turns quickly when caught back-to-back in melee
🔧
AI Battleground · Fixes
This round of AI battleground fixes:
Fixed AI endlessly "making" potions without using them (buffs apply correctly now, no spam)
Fixed AI occasionally freezing in place on the field
Fixed Paladins unable to cast Divine Shield while carrying the flag — now allowed (and, per WSG rules, casting it drops the flag)
Battleground start messages now follow your client language
🛠️
AI Battleground · More Fixes (from player reports)
More AI battleground fixes based on player reports:
Stealth classes can sneak in: AI no longer spots Stealth from far away, and nearing the enemy flag room no longer instantly forces you into combat
AI now actively intercepts the enemy flag carrier instead of just running back and forth; healers top off low-HP allies in time
Fixed AI getting stuck on the mid-field rock and not fighting back — it now frees itself and retaliates
Breaks the stalemate where both teams turtle and a captured flag cannot be turned in: AI now focuses down the enemy flag carrier
After a flag carrier dies, AI no longer instantly returns your dropped flag, giving teammates time to re-grab it (the drop was not caused by the speed potion)
Fixed the increased-damage-taken debuff lingering after dropping or capturing the flag (it previously cleared only on death)
You can now release your spirit and resurrect at the graveyard after dying in the AI Warsong Gulch
Fixed the Horde battlemaster Quick Battle (AI) option being unresponsive

Card Collection - Daily Playtime Fix
Fixed an issue where some players saw daily playtime stuck at 0 on the card page and could not claim that day's pack.
|||MARK|||Cause|||MARK|||: a newly created character reusing the internal slot of a deleted character made the system use the old character's total played time as baseline, so the day's playtime read 0.
Now fixed: affected accounts (and future cases) correctly accumulate daily online time and receive their pack after 1 hour.
We ran a systematic, line-by-line pass over |||MARK|||all 9 classes'|||MARK||| spells and talents, checking each against its tooltip and fixing many long-standing description-vs-effect mismatches. Main fixes by class:
|||MARK|||Warrior|||MARK|||: Bloodthirst damage restored (was far below its tooltip); Improved Disarm duration now applies.
|||MARK|||Paladin|||MARK|||: Illumination mana return restored (and now covers higher-rank Holy Shock); Holy Shield and Blessing of Sanctuary block damage now scales with spell power; Holy Strike no longer refreshes only one Judgement; Improved Seal of Righteousness per-hit bonus applies.
|||MARK|||Hunter|||MARK|||: Improved Aspects haste bonus corrected; Explosive Trap initial blast is |||MARK|||AoE|||MARK||| again (was single-target).
|||MARK|||Rogue|||MARK|||: Opportunity, Bloody Mess, Vigor, Improved Kidney Shot and Ruthlessness/Envenom restored; Cloaked in Shadows now absorbs a |||MARK|||percentage of max health|||MARK||| (was 0).
|||MARK|||Priest|||MARK|||: Reflective Shields ratio fixed; Vampiric Touch healing and its improvement apply; Lightwell restored to a |||MARK|||heal-over-time|||MARK||| (was 1 HP); Shadow Affinity works.
|||MARK|||Shaman|||MARK|||: Elemental Focus, Water Shield, Spirit Armor, Tidal Surge and Elemental Devastation fixed; Lightning/Water/Earth Shield can no longer coexist.
|||MARK|||Mage|||MARK|||: Magic Absorption returns mana on a resist; Arcane Instability, Arcane Power and Combustion fixed; Ice Barrier grants interrupt immunity.
|||MARK|||Warlock|||MARK|||: Fel Intellect, Fel Stamina, Unholy Power and the demonology movement talent — pet talents that |||MARK|||previously did nothing|||MARK||| — are fixed; Improved Curse of Weakness, Improved Immolate and Soul Funnel work; Soul Fire / Drain Soul tooltips completed.
|||MARK|||Druid|||MARK|||: Blood Frenzy and Gift of Nature values fixed; Feline Swiftness cat-form dodge applies; fixed a chat-spam issue on Open Wounds.
⚠️
A note on this large update
This was a one-time, all-class sweep — a large number of spells and talents with complex interactions.
We checked each fix and verified them on the test realm before release, but given the sheer volume, |||MARK|||some changes may not have fully taken effect, or may behave unexpectedly in certain situations|||MARK|||.
If you notice any spell or talent behaving oddly — whether fixed here or seemingly affected — please report it via the |||MARK|||bug report system|||MARK||| and we will keep iterating.
A few tricky items (such as exact numbers on certain new talents) are still being verified and will follow in later updates.
June 21 — AI Battleground (Warsong) is live · Fishing Extravaganza moved to Sunday afternoon
Warsong Gulch can now be filled with AI players. No more waiting for a full queue — start a 10v10 whenever you like.
Open the |||MARK|||Battleground panel|||MARK||| (talk to a |||MARK|||Battleground Master|||MARK||| in any capital, or use the battleground shortcut) and pick the |||MARK|||"Quick Battle (AI)"|||MARK||| Warsong row to join.
Both teams are instantly filled to |||MARK|||10v10|||MARK||| with AI teammates and opponents — a full lobby, no wait.
The AI plays every class, moving, controlling, flag-running and team-fighting like real players.
🏅
Earn honor as usual
The AI battleground is a real Warsong Gulch — honor and battleground rewards are settled under the normal rules, with nothing reduced.
|||MARK|||Killing|||MARK||| enemies (players or AI) awards honor (honorable kills).
|||MARK|||Flag captures, escorts and victory|||MARK||| grant honor and battleground rewards under standard Warsong rules.
🤖
AI combat intelligence heavily improved
This update heavily polished how the AI fights so every class plays to its strengths:
|||MARK|||Mages|||MARK||| are all Frost — Frostbolt, Frost Nova, Cone of Cold and Blizzard to slow, control and lock down flag carriers.
|||MARK|||Rogues|||MARK||| stealth toward the flag, slipping past enemies unseen, opening with Cheap Shot / Backstab.
|||MARK|||Healers|||MARK||| (Priest/Paladin/Druid/Shaman) use instant heals, shields and HoTs while pushing with the group.
|||MARK|||Warriors|||MARK||| Charge/Intercept and stance-dance; |||MARK|||Hunters|||MARK||| defend with traps and a pet; |||MARK|||Warlocks|||MARK||| spread DoTs and Fear.
Each Hunter/Warlock |||MARK|||always has exactly one pet|||MARK|||; everyone wears full level-60 PvP gear with maxed weapon skill.
✨
Opening perks: team buffs, a Soulwell and a Refreshment Table
During the prep phase before each match, your AI teammates set up perks for the whole team — grab them at the start:
|||MARK|||Team buffs|||MARK|||: Priest Fortitude, Mage Arcane Intellect, Druid Mark of the Wild, Paladin Blessings and more — stand near your AI teammates to receive them and start fully buffed.
|||MARK|||🔮 Soulwell|||MARK|||: an AI warlock drops a |||MARK|||Soulwell|||MARK||| near your start — click it for a |||MARK|||Healthstone|||MARK|||.
|||MARK|||🍗 Refreshment Table|||MARK|||: an AI mage conjures a |||MARK|||Refreshment Table|||MARK||| — click for |||MARK|||food/water|||MARK||| to restore health and mana.
🎯
AI Battleground tuned further: dedicated healing, fighting carriers, dual-spec hunters
Building on the launch build, this update further refines the AI's roles and class playstyles:
|||MARK|||One dedicated healer|||MARK|||: each team keeps a single Priest on healing duty; Paladins/Shamans now deal damage and fight or grab the flag with the group.
|||MARK|||More proactive healers|||MARK|||: they push to midfield from the start, actively escort the flag carrier, and |||MARK|||dispel|||MARK||| snares and control off teammates.
|||MARK|||Flag carriers fight back|||MARK|||: while running the flag home they now strike back and use abilities to peel pursuers, instead of only running.
|||MARK|||Focus on real players|||MARK|||: the AI leans its fire toward human players.
|||MARK|||Smarter when low|||MARK|||: with no enemy within 50 yards they sit to eat/drink; in combat they bandage in a safe window.
|||MARK|||Paladin kit completed|||MARK|||: added Divine Shield, Blessing of Protection, Blessing of Freedom and Lay on Hands (a clutch full heal).
|||MARK|||Hunter overhaul|||MARK|||: no longer glued to the flag — they team-fight and fall back to defend only when needed; each match they're randomly |||MARK|||Marksmanship|||MARK||| (ranged + pet) or |||MARK|||Survival|||MARK||| (petless, dual-wield melee, multiple traps).
📈
Battleground XP adjusted (1.18.1)
Sub-60 battleground XP has been realigned to the 1.18.1 standard (applies to all battlegrounds, not just the AI one):
|||MARK|||Percentage of your level bar|||MARK|||: a win grants about 4.5% and a loss about 1.5% of your current level's XP bar (flag captures give extra).
|||MARK|||High-level taper removed|||MARK|||: the old penalty that shrank XP as you leveled is gone — battleground XP is more rewarding the closer you are to 60.

Stranglethorn Fishing Extravaganza — New Time
The fishing contest has moved to a friendlier time — weekend afternoon.
|||MARK|||Competition: Sundays 14:00–16:00|||MARK||| (moved from early Monday morning to Sunday afternoon so more players can take part).

🗺️
New Areas — Razorfen Downs, Razorfen Kraul & The Earthen Ring

|||MARK|||The Brambled Grotto (Razorfen Kraul)|||MARK|||: new spawns and scenery.
|||MARK|||Earthen Ring camp|||MARK|||: a full new settlement — guards, shaman trainers, leather/reagent/general-goods vendors, an innkeeper and quest NPCs are all in place to resupply, train and pick up quests.
⏰
Reset Schedule Changes
Raid and PvP reset times have been realigned.
|||MARK|||Raid reset: now Thursdays at 05:00|||MARK||| (was Sunday). Zul'Gurub, AQ20 etc. keep their own cycles, with the reset hour aligned to 05:00.
|||MARK|||Weekly PvP maintenance / standings: now Thursdays|||MARK|||, unified with the raid reset as a single Thursday maintenance day.
|||MARK|||Daily dungeon reset|||MARK|||: aligned to 05:00 each day.

|||MARK|||New guides in Gadgetzan|||MARK|||: a couple of related NPCs in town kick off the oil rig storyline.
|||MARK|||Questline open|||MARK|||: the full series — including sabotaging the oil pumps — is ready to play.
|||MARK|||Resupply on site|||MARK|||: on-location vendors and an inn save you the round trip.

|||MARK|||New creatures and props|||MARK|||: additional wildlife and scenery have been added.
🔧
Fixes & Localization
A few quality-of-life fixes.
|||MARK|||Eastern Kingdoms layering fix|||MARK|||: in some Eastern Kingdoms areas, players standing in the same spot could end up on different world layers and not see each other. Zone boundaries are corrected so you meet and group up normally.
|||MARK|||Quest objective fix|||MARK|||: a batch of quests that stalled because their target objects were not recognized now progress and turn in correctly.
|||MARK|||Localization catch-up|||MARK|||: Chinese names and titles for new NPCs in the Tanaris oil rig, Thousand Needles and more (e.g. Wind Rider Master, Innkeeper) are now filled in for a cleaner zh client.
Large stretches of Moonwhisper Coast (the Kalimdor shoreline) used to feel empty. With this update the whole region is now fully populated and ready to explore, grind, and gather.
|||MARK|||Mobs everywhere|||MARK|||: around 2,700 new spawn points and nearly 270 creature types now fill the coast, caves, camps, and villages, giving you plenty to fight and farm.
|||MARK|||Rare elites|||MARK|||: the region rares are in place, carrying their own loot for anyone brave enough.
|||MARK|||Vendors and trainers|||MARK|||: several vendors and trainers have moved in, so you can resupply, repair, and train on the spot instead of hiking back to a capital.
|||MARK|||Quest and dialogue NPCs|||MARK|||: over a hundred talk and quest NPCs are now positioned across the region as its questlines come online.
|||MARK|||Gathering nodes restored|||MARK|||: well over a thousand herbs, ore veins, chests, and props are scattered across the zone for gatherers and treasure hunters.
AI Battleground (WSG) Beta · June 17 — Hunter Talent & Pet Fixes
You can now enjoy a battleground even when few players are online — an AI-filled "Quick Battle (Warsong Gulch)". This is a |||MARK|||beta trial|||MARK|||; plenty is still rough (bot smarts, balance, occasional glitches), so try it out and please share feedback.
|||MARK|||Join · Alliance|||MARK|||: talk to the |||MARK|||Warsong Gulch Battlemaster|||MARK||| in an Alliance capital — a new "|||MARK|||Quick Battle|||MARK|||" gossip option drops you |||MARK|||straight in|||MARK|||, no queue or waiting.
|||MARK|||Join · Horde|||MARK|||: talk to the |||MARK|||Warsong Gulch Battlemaster|||MARK||| in a Horde capital — the same "|||MARK|||Quick Battle|||MARK|||" option enters immediately.
|||MARK|||Or the Battlefield finder|||MARK|||: open the battlefield icon by the minimap; a "|||MARK|||Quick Battle (AI)|||MARK|||" row is added — click it to join. (That row needs the updated client patch to appear; the gossip option above does not.)
|||MARK|||How the bots play|||MARK|||: AI fills both teams to |||MARK|||10v10|||MARK|||; they fight by class (mages cast, healers heal, melee charge), |||MARK|||grab the flag, run it home to capture, and resurrect to rejoin after dying|||MARK|||, and |||MARK|||slightly prioritize real players|||MARK||| — but their main goal is capturing flags.
|||MARK|||Win condition|||MARK|||: same as normal Warsong — grab the enemy flag and, |||MARK|||while your own flag is still at base|||MARK|||, carry it home to score; |||MARK|||first team to 3 flags wins|||MARK|||.
|||MARK|||It's a beta|||MARK|||: bots aren't very smart yet and balance is still being tuned, so expect odd movement or minor issues — we'll keep improving it.
|||MARK|||Coming later|||MARK|||: more battlegrounds (Alterac Valley, Arathi Basin…), |||MARK|||difficulty selection|||MARK||| (Easy / Normal / Hard), and smarter, more human-like bots.
|||MARK|||Found a bug? Tell us|||MARK|||: if you hit a bug or something unfair, please |||MARK|||submit a report|||MARK||| (clear description, ideally a screenshot) so we can polish it.
Have fun out there! 🎉
🏹
Hunter — Talents & Pets
A batch of Hunter talent and pet issues are fixed this update, with noticeably smoother Beast Mastery and Survival play.
|||MARK|||Trueshot Aura with Aspects|||MARK|||: Trueshot Aura now stays active alongside an Aspect (Hawk, Cheetah, etc.) instead of replacing it, and the Beast Mastery Swift Aspects talent works again.
|||MARK|||Pets inherit your stats|||MARK|||: Thick Hide and Endurance Training now pass your armor and health to your pet, updating in real time when you change gear; the Elusiveness resistance bonus is fixed too.
|||MARK|||Ancient Cornerstone Grimoire|||MARK|||: this off-hand now properly grants its pet damage and health bonus.
|||MARK|||Kill Command|||MARK|||: when your pet is feared, stunned, or otherwise unable to act, pressing Kill Command no longer wastes the cooldown, and the pet no longer loses health from it.
|||MARK|||Lacerate stacks with traps|||MARK|||: the Survival Lacerate bleed no longer overwrites Immolation Trap and similar damage-over-time effects.
|||MARK|||Greater Blessings reach pets|||MARK|||: when a Paladin casts a Greater Blessing on a Hunter, the Hunter pet now receives it as well.
|||MARK|||Pet abilities stay learned|||MARK|||: trained pet abilities are no longer wiped after hearthing or visiting the stable master.
|||MARK|||Traps in combat|||MARK|||: the in-combat trap restriction works correctly again (only the matching talent allows setting traps during combat).
June 16 · Guild Quarters Live · Food & Potions Survive Dungeon Death
A guild leader carrying a Guild Quarters Deed can now register any inn as the guild's home. Once set, every guild member can teleport back here with the Guild Tabard.
|||MARK|||Who can use it|||MARK|||: you must be the |||MARK|||guild leader|||MARK|||, and you must carry |||MARK|||at least one Guild Quarters Deed|||MARK||| (sold by vendors for 50000g).
|||MARK|||How to set it up|||MARK|||: stand inside your chosen inn → right-click the innkeeper → a new option appears at the top: `[Guild Quarters] I would like to set this inn as our guild quarters` → click it for a sub-menu → click `✅ Confirm` → answer `Yes` on the client confirmation popup.
|||MARK|||Cost|||MARK|||: on confirm, |||MARK|||one deed is consumed|||MARK||| and the inn becomes your guild's home. Every guild member can immediately teleport here with the Guild Tabard.
|||MARK|||Relocate|||MARK|||: come back with another deed at any time to move your hall to a new inn — a warning will note that the old location is being overwritten.
|||MARK|||No accidental setup|||MARK|||: a sub-menu plus a yes/no popup means nothing is consumed and nothing changes until you click the final `Yes`.
Live after the next server restart.
🍞
Dungeon Death — Food & Potions Survive
A classic rule restored — when you die inside a dungeon or raid, your |||MARK|||food, drink, elixir, and flask|||MARK||| buffs are no longer wiped. Resurrect and keep fighting; no need to re-chug everything.
|||MARK|||Paladin · Judgements|||MARK|||: fixed a single paladin being able to keep Judgement of the Crusader and Judgement of Wisdom/Light on the same target at once; a paladin now maintains only one Judgement per target (re-judging replaces your previous one, and different paladins still keep their own).
🐗
Boar Mode: missing graduation mount restored
A player reported that after graduating Boar Mode, the graduation reward mount (Black Boar) had disappeared from their mount tab following a character backup restore. We confirmed the restore had dropped this reward. Now fixed:
The graduating player who reported it has had the Boar Mode graduation mount (Black Boar) restored — |||MARK|||log back in|||MARK||| and it is in your mount tab, no action needed.
If you also graduated Boar Mode (still had Boar status at level 60) but lost the graduation mount after a character restore, please |||MARK|||submit a report with your character name|||MARK||| and we will verify and re-grant it case by case.
This only affected the very few graduated players who went through a character backup restore; no other players or the normal graduation flow are affected.

Spell & item data restored — recovering data lost in the 1.18.1 update
Restored a batch of underlying data accidentally lost during the 1.18.1 update (from the official data fix), making spell scaling more accurate and bringing several special items back to working order:
|||MARK|||Spell-power coefficients restored|||MARK|||: many spells and heals had their spell-power scaling fall back to an auto-estimate after the 1.18.1 data loss. These are now restored to the official per-rank values — max-rank spells at full coefficient, low ranks following the classic down-ranking penalty. Damage and healing scaling is more accurate; max-rank spells are essentially unaffected.
|||MARK|||Special item effects fixed|||MARK|||: 5 items that did nothing on use now work again — Orb of Draconic Energy, Holy Wings, Sword of Truth, Radio, and the Summer Vestment.
|||MARK|||Underlying spell flags restored|||MARK|||: a batch of internal spell behavior flags were also recovered, bringing those spells in line with the official behavior.
This is a large data restore and is live as of this restart; if any spell scaling feels off, please let us know.
Synced from the official update — Grim Reaches is now properly built out, and the Dragonmaw Retreat entrance is open:
|||MARK|||Grim Reaches|||MARK|||: creature spawns and respawns across the zone (Stonehide Boars, Reach Rams and more) have been rebuilt, and the boss |||MARK|||Thromrar Darkflame|||MARK||| now has a full fight — being hit by the Dragonfire Bomb strips his Skardyn Darkshield.
The |||MARK|||Dragonmaw Retreat entrance|||MARK||| is now in place.
|||MARK|||Pathing fix|||MARK|||: some creatures in high-traffic areas now path correctly (they previously died too fast for their pathing to generate).
Fixed an issue preventing repeated drops of the "Arena Master" trinket from the arena chest:
Characters who had |||MARK|||previously looted|||MARK||| the trinket would have it filtered out of the loot on later chests; this is now fixed — it can |||MARK|||drop again as intended|||MARK|||.
The trinket now |||MARK|||matches standard trinket behavior — non-stackable|||MARK||| (was stackable; existing stacks are unaffected, but new drops occupy their own slot).
Applied via hot-reload — no server restart needed, no relog required.
June 14 — Survival profession trees localized (Chinese)
Fixed two cases where, after death, your spirit was sent to the wrong place or had no spirit healer nearby. These fixes are already live — no restart or action needed:
|||MARK|||Burning Steppes|||MARK|||: Alliance players who died in Burning Steppes had their spirit stranded by the corpse with no spirit healer nearby, unable to resurrect. Fixed — both factions now release to the Flame Crest graveyard (which has a spirit healer).
|||MARK|||Stormwind Stockade (dungeon)|||MARK|||: dying inside the Stockade wrongly teleported your spirit all the way out to Feralas. Fixed — it now returns you to the Stormwind graveyard.
🌲
Survival: choppable trees now show Chinese names
The trees the Survival profession harvests for wood (interactable gathering nodes, like herbs and ore) previously showed only English names. They are all localized now:
All six harvestable trees are localized: |||MARK|||Simple / Bright / Shade / Tropical / Star / Dead Wood Tree|||MARK||| (names matched to the wood they yield).
If you chopped them before and your client cached the English name, relog once to see the Chinese; new players see them directly.
Players reported that when a Paladin used |||MARK|||Divine Shield|||MARK||| (or |||MARK|||Divine Protection|||MARK|||), their weapon |||MARK|||lifesteal would vanish|||MARK|||, and once lost it only returned after re-equipping the weapon. Fixed:
|||MARK|||Cause|||MARK|||: Divine Shield / Divine Protection make you immune to all magic; the routine meant to clear debuffs on immunity was wrongly stripping your own weapon lifesteal too, with no auto-restore.
|||MARK|||Fix|||MARK|||: lifesteal is no longer removed by these two immunity abilities — it keeps working during and after them, with no re-equipping needed.
|||MARK|||Blessing of Protection|||MARK||| (physical immunity only) never affected lifesteal and is unchanged.
🔧
Player-reported fixes
A batch of player-reported issues fixed today:
|||MARK|||Hateforge Quarry|||MARK|||: Alliance death inside no longer sends your spirit to Lakeshire — fixed to the Burning Steppes graveyard (matching Horde).
|||MARK|||Quest "Fate of the Harborage"|||MARK|||: the summoned boss no longer despawns without fighting; it can be engaged and killed to finish the quest.
|||MARK|||Arena Master (quest item)|||MARK|||: now stackable, so the Arena Grandmaster quest (needs 12) no longer fills your bags or blocks looting more.
|||MARK|||Pamela's Doll|||MARK|||: the three doll pieces loot and assemble correctly; the quest is completable.
|||MARK|||Frostmane Hollow|||MARK|||: fixed some mob name display errors.
|||MARK|||Disenchanting|||MARK|||: disenchanting higher-level rare (blue) gear wrongly produced low-level dust; fixed to yield the correct shards.
|||MARK|||Gadgetzan quest "A Deal Worth Taking"|||MARK|||: the quest-giver (Shady Individual) was missing in Gadgetzan, blocking the quest; restored (takes effect after the next restart).
|||MARK|||Server performance (peak-hour lag)|||MARK|||: fixed the high latency during peak evening hours — continent map updates now run across multiple CPU cores and visibility settings were tuned, sharply reducing peak-time lag.
June 13 — Quest "Dark Iron Aggression" fixed · Rare-gear disenchant (Shards) fixed
Players reported that the quest "Dark Iron Aggression" at the Farstrider Lodge in Loch Modan was |||MARK|||impossible to complete|||MARK|||: it asks you to recover 8 "Refugee Supplies" stolen by the Dark Iron, but there was nowhere in the world to actually recover them — and the quest text only showed in English. Both are now fixed, live as of this restart:
|||MARK|||The quest can be completed now|||MARK|||: the stolen Refugee Supplies are held in |||MARK|||Stolen Crates|||MARK||| scattered around the |||MARK|||Dark Iron camp southwest of the Farstrider Lodge|||MARK|||. Head there, open the crates to recover them, and turn 8 in to |||MARK|||Kelt Thomasin|||MARK||| to finish the quest.
|||MARK|||Chinese text added|||MARK|||: the quest title, description and objective are now fully localized (they previously showed only in English).
Live as of the server restart — no action needed.
✨
Disenchanting: rare (blue) gear yields proper Shards again
Players reported that disenchanting |||MARK|||rare (blue) gear only produced Dust, never the Shards it should yield|||MARK|||. This traced back to an earlier fix that restored the "disenchantable" property on items but mistakenly gave blue gear the |||MARK|||uncommon (green) disenchant output|||MARK||| — so it only produced dust and essence. Fixed:
|||MARK|||Blue gear now disenchants into the correct Shard for its item level|||MARK||| (Glimmering up through Brilliant shards — higher level, higher shard) instead of only dust.
|||MARK|||Epic (purple) gear|||MARK||| was verified to be working correctly (still yields Nexus Crystals) and is unaffected.
Several thousand blue items were corrected; live after the server restart, no action needed.
🏕️
Survival profession: tier-ups no longer wipe your skill, trainer cleanup, restored survival points
A systematic fix for several long-standing Survival issues: training a higher tier at a trainer could reset your skill to 1, some characters restored from backup lost or got stuck on Survival, and trainer offerings were inconsistent.
|||MARK|||Tier-up no longer wipes your skill|||MARK|||: training a higher Survival tier (Expert / Master, etc.) at a trainer could reset your Survival skill back to 1. Fixed — leveling up now properly keeps the skill points you have earned.
|||MARK|||Trainer cleanup|||MARK|||: the Survival trainer |||MARK|||Rufus Hardwick|||MARK||| at the Nesingwary camp in Stranglethorn now offers the full Expert and Master Survival training; the Traveler's Tent recipe is learnable at Survival 150; leftover old-version active abilities were removed from the Survival skill list.
|||MARK|||Restored survival points|||MARK|||: some characters restored from backup had their Survival lost or stuck at a broken value. We compared each against its backup and restored Survival to the backed-up level (only ever raising it — never lowering, so progress you have since leveled is kept).
The tier-up fix and trainer cleanup go live with the server restart; restored survival points show on next login. No action needed.
June 12 — Warrior talent & ability overhaul (live, please help test)
A systematic pass over a batch of warrior talents and abilities. It touches damage formulas and threat, so while it is |||MARK|||live as of this restart it still needs real-combat testing|||MARK||| — please report anything that looks off and we will keep tuning:
|||MARK|||Bloodthirst|||MARK|||: damage recalculated to sit closer to the official values; a hit now grants a short movement-speed buff.
|||MARK|||Execute|||MARK|||: the Precision Cut talent now works correctly — more rage means more bonus damage.
|||MARK|||Concussion Blow|||MARK|||: armor ignore now works, it can no longer be dodged / parried / blocked, and its damage scales with attack power.
|||MARK|||Weapon specialization (Weapon Master / Two-Handed Weapon Spec)|||MARK|||: the per-weapon passives now apply correctly — 2H axe crit, 2H sword extra attack, 2H mace armor penetration, polearm reach, and the matching weapon-skill bonuses.
|||MARK|||Blood Craze|||MARK|||: while Enrage / Death Wish / Recklessness is active, melee hits restore a portion of your health and show in the combat log.
|||MARK|||Master Strike|||MARK|||: each main-hand weapon type triggers a different effect (mace stun, sword disarm, axe root, polearm mounted bonus, fist knockdown, staff parry, dagger silence).
|||MARK|||Defensive Tactics|||MARK|||: keeps extra threat while in a combat stance with a shield — steadier tanking.
|||MARK|||Improved Intervene / Improved Pummel / Gag Order / Battlefield Mobility / Bloodrage / Improved Slam|||MARK||| and more are also fixed (Battle Shout no longer wrongly grants immunity, Pummel lockout extended, Shield Slam dispel made reliable, Intervene cooldown reduced, and so on).
This is a large change set — |||MARK|||warriors, please test it in-game|||MARK||| and report anything that looks off; we will keep tuning.
Players reported that in the guild bank, |||MARK|||gold could be deposited but items could not|||MARK||| — even for a guild master / vice-master with Full permissions, while the UI still showed permissions as fine. This turned out not to be a guild-permission or server issue, but a compatibility problem with the |||MARK|||Nanami-ui interface addon|||MARK|||: the old version was wrongly blocking the drag-and-drop of items into the bank slots. Fixed with a plugin update:
|||MARK|||Cause|||MARK|||: the old Nanami-ui addon was intercepting item drag-and-drop in the guild bank window, so items would not deposit even with Full permission (gold always worked fine).
|||MARK|||Fix|||MARK|||: the Nanami-ui addon has been updated to resolve the compatibility issue. |||MARK|||Update the plugin through the launcher|||MARK|||, relaunch the game, and item deposits work normally again.
This was unrelated to guild permissions or master / vice-master rank — after updating the addon, no member is affected.
🧊
Frostmane Hollow: boss and dungeon polished
Gave the low-level dungeon Frostmane Hollow a polish pass to bring it in line with the real Turtle server:
The boss |||MARK|||Hailar the Frigid|||MARK||| now has a full ability kit and combat barks (on pull / at 50% / on death) instead of being a stand-still dummy.
Creature spawns, appearances, factions and movement inside the dungeon have been corrected and filled in for a more faithful run.
Live as of this server restart — come check it out.
🏹
Hunter talent & ability pass: Spirit Bond, traps, aspects, Kill Command, lifesteal, Swift Aspects & Rapid Fire
A batch of long-standing hunter talent / ability issues, all live as of this restart:
|||MARK|||Spirit Bond|||MARK||| (Beast Mastery talent): summoning your pet now grants the proper permanent buff — you and your pet regenerate health every 5 sec (shown in the combat log), and the pet gains melee attack power scaled from your ranged attack power (refreshes instantly on gear change).
|||MARK|||Trap placement|||MARK|||: hunters WITHOUT the Untamed Trapper talent can no longer lay traps in combat (classic rule restored); WITH the talent you can lay them in combat, and Immolation / Explosive traps cost 20% less mana while trap damage scales with melee attack power.
|||MARK|||Aspect of the Wolf|||MARK|||: no longer wrongly blocks ranged weapons — you can shoot normally while it is active.
|||MARK|||Kill Command|||MARK|||: now a true pet melee strike — if the target is out of range your pet charges in and strikes on arrival, instead of zapping from any distance or hitting nothing.
|||MARK|||Lifesteal|||MARK|||: gear / enchant / talent lifesteal now shows the heal amount and appears in the combat log (it healed silently before, so it looked like it did nothing).
|||MARK|||Swift Aspects|||MARK||| (Beast Mastery talent): previously did nothing after learning it (its proc spell was never wired up). Fixed — while |||MARK|||Aspect of the Hawk|||MARK||| is active your ranged attacks have a chance to raise your |||MARK|||ranged attack speed|||MARK|||; while |||MARK|||Aspect of the Wolf|||MARK||| is active your melee attacks have a chance to raise your |||MARK|||melee attack speed|||MARK|||; scales with talent points (5/5 = +15%, 12 sec).
|||MARK|||Rapid Fire|||MARK|||: previously applied a buff but did not actually increase attack speed. Fixed to correctly boost melee and ranged attack speed and reduce Aimed / Steady Shot cast time for 15 sec; the tooltip text was corrected too.
|||MARK|||Stormwind training-dummy area|||MARK|||: pathfinding fixed so pets / Warrior Charge reach the target.
💍
Random-property gear: lost stats restored
Players reported that some random-suffix blue / green items (e.g. rings like "Serpentine Loop … of the Bear / … Resistance") showed only armor and no stats after a character restore, with the value shown as "?". Fixed:
|||MARK|||Cause|||MARK|||: these items get their stats from a random suffix, and the restore did not re-generate that suffix — so they kept only base armor with no stats.
|||MARK|||Fix|||MARK|||: every affected random-property item on the server has been re-rolled a random suffix (your existing permanent enchants are fully preserved), restoring proper stats and the item name.
Live as of this server restart — thousands of items fixed, no action needed.
June 10 — Watchtower patrol · Booty Bay & Bloodsail rep · Glitterglam + Find Fish restored · Hidden Fashion set gifted · Caverns of Time NPCs back · Flight point triple fix · Emerald Dream teleport restored · Guild Vault fixed · Dungeon spirit release fixed · Trainer skills filled in · Pet autocast fixed · Trainer rank-skipping fixed · Disenchanting fixed · Quest item pickup fixed
Western Plaguelands watchtower: patrols no longer fall through the floor
Fixed an issue in a multi-level Western Plaguelands watchtower where patrolling NPCs could be guided to the wrong floor or fall through the ground.
Cavalier Durgen now correctly walks the stair patrol again.
Scarlet Spellbinder spawns at the right height — no more falling to the floor below.
Takes full effect after the next server restart.
🏴☠️
Booty Bay quests: Bloodsail Buccaneers reputation corrected
Booty Bay quests should LOWER your Bloodsail Buccaneers standing, but they were incorrectly RAISING it. Fixed:
Going forward, Booty Bay quests correctly give +Booty Bay and -Bloodsail.
Bloodsail rep already earned this way is NOT reverted — so anyone actively grinding the pirate rep is not hurt.
The dedicated Bloodsail rep quest line is untouched, so that path is still intact.
🐟
Character restore — filled in: Glitterglam + Find Fish
Some restored characters silently lost two spells in their spellbook: |||MARK|||Famous Fashionista Glitterglam|||MARK||| (the goblin stylist companion) and |||MARK|||Find Fish|||MARK||| (fishing minimap tracker). We went through every character snapshot and filled in the missing ones:
Glitterglam: 23 players originally had it, 22 of them were missing it — now restored. The goblin stylist companion summons correctly again.
Find Fish: 4 players originally had it — now restored. Fishing pools show on the minimap again.
Additionally, account SZJ23's character Dz (originally named 贼红) had a rename-related fix applied separately.
No action needed — the spells are already in your spellbook on next login.
👻
Hidden Fashion set: gifted to all players who used character restore
Players reported that hidden tabards bought from vendors didn't show up as a transmog option for the Guild Tabard. The reason: this kind of appearance only enters your transmog collection after you EQUIP the item once. So we just gifted them directly:
The full |||MARK|||Summer Collection of Unseen Fashion|||MARK||| (6 pieces: Tabard, Chest, Leggings, Bracers, Waist, Shoulders) appearances have been |||MARK|||gifted directly|||MARK||| to all 1831 players who have ever used the character restore service. Open the transmog panel and the 6 appearances are right there.
For 21 players who already owned a hidden piece but had never worn it, the appearance has also been added to their collection.
|||MARK|||How it takes effect:|||MARK||| offline players see it on next login; |||MARK|||online players need to log out and log back in once|||MARK||| so the transmog collection refreshes.
|||MARK|||How to use it:|||MARK||| apply the invisible appearance to a Guild Tabard / chest / leggings / etc. to make that piece visually disappear — the easiest way to hide parts of your equipment.
🐉
Caverns of Time: all NPCs and the flight drake are back
Players previously reported that every NPC in the Caverns of Time (Tanaris) had vanished — the greeters at the cave mouth, the bronze drake that flies you down, Chromie, the reputation vendors and the guards. They have all returned with our recent data repairs, and we walked the cave in person to confirm:
Cave mouth: the greeters and the |||MARK|||flight drake|||MARK||| are in place — you can ride down as usual.
Cave floor: |||MARK|||Chromie|||MARK||| and the bronze dragonflight, the |||MARK|||reputation vendors|||MARK||| and supply merchants are all at their posts.
The 20+ bronze guards along the tunnel and Anachronos the Ancient are back as well.
Nothing to do on your end — head over any time.
🦅
Flight point triple fix: Gnomeregan opens · Thelsamar returns · lost flight maps refilled
Three flight-point issues handled in one pass:
|||MARK|||Gnomeregan Reclamation Facility flight point now open|||MARK|||: the route existed but there was no flight master, so it could never be used. Gnome gryphon master |||MARK|||Vifri Brent|||MARK||| is now on duty with two gryphons standing by, flying to and from Ironforge — a big shortcut for anyone leveling in western Dun Morogh.
|||MARK|||Thelsamar (Loch Modan) flight point is back|||MARK|||: gryphon master Thorgrum Borrelson has returned to his post — verified in person, discovery and flights both work.
|||MARK|||Lost flight maps refilled|||MARK|||: a few characters (e.g. a restored goblin rogue) had nearly empty flight maps. These have been refilled with the full network for their faction, effective next login. Future cases will be handled the same way.
🌀
Emerald Dream teleport quest line — completion restored
Some max-level characters found that after the character restore, the Runestone / Verdant Rune teleport quest line had been reset — leaving the teleport unusable even though the Verdant Rune was still sitting in their bags. Fixed for everyone:
Every character holding a Verdant Rune has had the full quest line marked complete again — |||MARK|||the teleport works on your next login|||MARK|||, with no need to redo the lengthy chain.
With completion restored, you can still repeat the quest afterwards via the Small Dream Shard dialogue.
Only the quest completion record was restored; your items, equipment, and other progress are untouched.
🏦
Guild Vault: right-clicking the teller now opens it properly
Right-clicking a guild vault teller (e.g. Plushner in Stormwind) used to do nothing — the vault window never opened and the unlock could not be purchased. The cause was a missing piece of dialogue configuration on the server that tells the game to open the window. It is now in place:
All |||MARK|||7 vault tellers|||MARK||| (major Alliance and Horde cities) now open the guild vault window on right-click.
The |||MARK|||guild master|||MARK||| can unlock the vault for gold; the whole guild can then deposit and withdraw by rank.
The fix is |||MARK|||already live|||MARK||| — no maintenance or restart needed.
⚰️
New dungeons: spirit release no longer leaves you stuck in place
Releasing your spirit after dying in some of the newer dungeons (e.g. Windhorn Canyon) left your ghost stuck on the spot — those areas had no graveyard assigned. Now fixed:
|||MARK|||Windhorn Canyon, Timbermaw Hold, Frostmane Hollow and Dragonmaw Retreat|||MARK||| now send your ghost to the nearest graveyard as expected.
Already live.
📖
Class trainers: 589 missing teachable skills filled in
Many players found certain skills could not be trained past low ranks (e.g. Priest Mind Flay stuck at rank 1). A full audit found 589 missing trainer entries — all filled in:
|||MARK|||Priest|||MARK|||: all ranks of Mind Flay.
|||MARK|||Hunter|||MARK|||: Aimed Shot, Steady Shot, Trueshot Aura, Aspect of the Viper, Aspect of the Wolf and more.
Plus assorted missing ranks for other classes — all back on their trainers.
Already live — just visit your trainer.
🐾
Hunter pets: right-click autocast toggle restored
Many hunters reported pet abilities (Growl / Bite / Claw etc.) could not be right-clicked to enable autocast. They had been stored as passive, so the client hid the toggle. Fixed:
Corrected |||MARK|||558 ability entries|||MARK||| across |||MARK|||328 pets|||MARK||| — the autocast corner toggle is back.
The character-restore flow has been fixed too, so newly restored pets will not have this issue.
|||MARK|||To apply: dismiss and re-summon your pet|||MARK||| (or relog).
🪜
Trainer rank gating fixed: no more skipping ranks
Some skills could be learned at max rank without knowing the earlier ranks (e.g. Priest Pain Spike rank 4 without rank 1). Their rank-progression data was missing. Now fixed:
|||MARK|||Pain Spike (Priest), Arcane Surge (Mage), Earth Shield (Shaman)|||MARK||| full lines, plus the top ranks of |||MARK|||Soul Fire / Drain Soul (Warlock)|||MARK|||, now require learning ranks in order.
Players who already learned higher ranks are unaffected.
Already live.
⚒️
Disenchanting fixed: thousands of items can be disenchanted again
Many enchanters reported that a wide range of gear — from low-level greens to dungeon greens/blues all the way to T3 sets — showed 'Item cannot be disenchanted.' Those items were missing their disenchant output data, now filled in across the board:
|||MARK|||Low-level greens|||MARK||| (e.g. item level ~10 green gear) now disenchant into Strange Dust / Soul Dust and the like.
|||MARK|||Dungeon greens and blues|||MARK||| (drops from the Foundry and other dungeons) can be disenchanted again.
|||MARK|||T3 sets|||MARK||| (tier-3 token armor such as Stormrage and Bloodfang) now break down into the right enchanting materials.
Individual items that were missed before — such as the |||MARK|||Visor of Command|||MARK||| — are filled in too.
Over ten thousand green / blue / epic items had their disenchant results restored. This is |||MARK|||live as of today's maintenance restart|||MARK||| — just disenchant as normal.
🧩
Quest pickup fixed: items that "finished looting but gave nothing"
Players reported that in some quests the loot cast finishes but nothing is collected — e.g. |||MARK|||Pamela's Doll|||MARK||| in Darrowshire (Eastern Plaguelands), where opening the doll pieces gave you nothing. The "quest-only drop" flag on these items had been lost during a data import, so the game wrongly decided you didn't need the item. Fixed:
|||MARK|||Pamela's Doll|||MARK||| (Darrowshire): the three pieces (Head / Left / Right Side) drop again — collect all three, then right-click any piece to assemble the doll for turn-in.
The same issue affected pickups in |||MARK|||a dozen other classic quests|||MARK|||, all fixed in one pass — including |||MARK|||The Rescue, Saving Sharpbeak, Aquementas, Marauders of Darrowshire, and Marla's Last Wish|||MARK|||.
Already live — just return to the quest spot and loot again; no need to re-accept quests you already have.
June 9 - World Cup events - Packs & N Coins - Stormwrought / Ironforge Airfields / Windhorn fixes - Talent & quest interaction hotfix
On the evening of June 8 we made what was intended as a very small backend tweak (just to hide a handful of pet-training helper spells that shouldn't appear under the Hunter spellbook General tab). The actual blast radius turned out to be far wider than intended. Over the course of June 9, players began reporting two categories of issues:
|||MARK|||Talents could not be learned|||MARK||| — opening the talent tree, clicking the talent rank-up button did nothing; some players also saw their spent points display incorrectly.
|||MARK|||Quest objects / world interactables didn't respond to clicks|||MARK||| — herbs/ore nodes, chests, quest pickups, etc. did nothing on right-click.
This was our mistake, and we're sorry for the disruption it caused.
🔧
What we fixed
The original hide-logic was too broad — it accidentally suppressed thousands of spells that should have been delivered normally (almost every talent passive plus many quest collection/interaction spells), so the client never received the "you have learned X" notifications, which is why buttons appeared dead. This hotfix:
Switched to a |||MARK|||precise id whitelist|||MARK||| that only hides the original 7 pet-training helper spells; everything else is back on the normal delivery path.
Talent learning is restored. Quest item / world object interactions are restored.
The 7 pet-training helper spells are still correctly hidden from the Hunter spellbook General tab (this part was the original intent).
📒
What we're changing on our side
Big thanks to everyone who took the time to report these issues over the past two days — your reports are what let us pinpoint and revert the bad change quickly. For changes that touch global spell / item behavior, we'll roll out in smaller staged steps going forward to prevent a repeat of this.
🔑
Stormwrought back gates: key interaction restored
A number of players reported that the Lower Reserve Gate and Stormwrought Castle Gate at the rear of the Stormwrought Ruins area no longer responded to clicks. Interaction is now fully restored.
Click the gate up close — without the key, you will see the "requires key" prompt; with the matching key in your bag, the gate opens immediately.
High-level rogues can also pick the lock (existing lockpicking requirement is unchanged).
🛫
Ironforge Airfields: now open by default to all Alliance characters
Ironforge Airfields previously required players to physically reach the location to discover the flight point, which was inconvenient for low-level characters. From now on:
|||MARK|||All existing Alliance characters|||MARK||| (Human / Dwarf / Night Elf / Gnome) will see the flight point as soon as they log in.
|||MARK|||Newly created Alliance characters|||MARK||| start with it unlocked at character creation — no need to travel there first.
This adjustment only affects Alliance; Horde flight network is unchanged.
🎁
A second pack on top of the daily check-in: the "1-hour bonus pack"
On top of the existing "play 15 min → claim 1 pack at check-in" flow, a second pack now becomes available:
After |||MARK|||1 hour online|||MARK||| on the day, the bonus pack is |||MARK|||granted automatically when you open the collection page|||MARK||| (no click needed).
If you have already played 1 hour at check-in time, |||MARK|||both packs are granted in one go|||MARK|||.
|||MARK|||Daily event-pack cap raised to 3|||MARK|||: 1 from check-in + 1 from the 7-day streak bonus + 1 from the 1-hour bonus.
|||MARK|||Win packs from prediction wins are NOT counted in this cap|||MARK||| — separately capped at 1/day, so a perfect day yields up to |||MARK|||3 + 1 = 4|||MARK||| packs (event 3 + win 1).
All packs still grant |||MARK|||bonus N coins on open|||MARK||| (random per pack), and duplicates still melt to shards for crafting.
⚽
World Cup Betting Is Open
World Cup betting is now open. The betting page highlights the nearest matches that are still available, making it easier to jump into active fixtures.
Each match supports |||MARK|||win / draw / loss|||MARK||| picks, with selected |||MARK|||correct-score|||MARK||| odds also available.
Results are settled by |||MARK|||regular time|||MARK||| only, excluding extra time and penalty shootouts.
Multiple bets on the same match are allowed; betting locks automatically |||MARK|||2 hours|||MARK||| before kickoff.
After lock, matches wait for result entry and are settled at the odds shown when the bet was placed.
🌟
All-Star Card Collection Starts Today
The World Cup All-Star card collection starts today. Log in and meet the daily online-time requirement to claim card packs and work toward the 11-card completion chest.
Collect all 11 star cards to open the completion chest and receive N Coin rewards.
The chest now plays a synthesis, burst, and highlight ceremony before revealing the reward.
Players who win the unique mount must choose a receiving character on the page; the mount is then sent by in-game mail.
The unique mount can only be assigned once, so choose the character carefully.
🎁
Card Packs Now Grant Bonus N Coins
Starting today, every claimed card pack also grants a random N Coin bonus, giving daily check-ins, betting win packs, and other pack rewards an extra perk.
Each claimed pack grants |||MARK|||8-18 N Coins|||MARK|||.
Daily check-in packs, streak bonus packs, betting win packs, and other activity packs all trigger this bonus.
N Coins are added directly to the account balance and can be viewed from the account pages.
📣
World Cup Pages Can Generate Share Cards
World Cup, betting, collection, and rules pages now include a share-card button for generating an event image or copying invite text.

Dungeon Fix — Windhorn Canyon
Windhorn Canyon has been repaired and completed — it is now fully playable.
Creatures, objects, spawns, and boss-fight scripts have been repaired and completed.
Players can enter and complete all boss and trash encounters as intended.
June 8 · Creature Aura Fix · Zhevra Unbound · Capital Hourly Buff Now Affects Pets · Dungeon Mob Gold Drops Overhaul
Fixed a data issue that affected |||MARK|||almost every creature|||MARK||| in the world: a recent background update accidentally wiped the pre-set auras from creature templates, so some mobs, elites, and bosses were behaving "off" — missing their intended armor buffs, resistances, passive damage reduction, stealth detection, stun auras, Frost Armor / Stoneform, etc. These are now restored.
|||MARK|||554 creatures|||MARK||| had their pre-set auras correctly restored (including some guards' stun auras, rogue-type stealth-detection auras, caster Frost / Mage Armor, etc.).
|||MARK|||13,615 creatures|||MARK||| confirmed to legitimately have no pre-set auras (their special abilities are driven by combat-AI scripts, not this field) and have been cleared to the proper "no aura" state.
Fix was applied |||MARK|||without any downtime|||MARK||| via a live hot-reload — creatures that previously felt "off" should now behave as intended.
This fix only restores the creature "pre-set aura" field; no boss mechanics, loot, or balance values were changed.
🦓
Zhevra (Barrens Zebra) — No Longer Soulbound
Corrected the binding state on the |||MARK|||Zhevra (Barrens Zebra)|||MARK||| mount item (ID 50426) so it matches its intended design:
No longer bound on pickup; the item can now be |||MARK|||freely traded|||MARK||| between players (mail and auction house included).
Still flagged as "Unique" — each character can only hold one at a time.
Use effect, riding skill requirement, and mount-collection behavior are unchanged.
Applied via live hot-reload — **no restart needed**. Zhevras already sitting in bags become tradeable immediately.
🏹
Hunter Spellbook Cleanup: Pet-Training Teach Spells No Longer Show in General Tab
For a long time, the Hunter spellbook General tab has been cluttered with a long list of "teach" spells for pet training (Growl, Bite, Charge, Claw, Cower, Dive, Lightning Breath, Scorpid Poison, Screech, Thunderstomp, Furious Howl at every rank). These are vanilla internal spells whose only purpose is to teach the corresponding skill to your pet — players never need to click them. They had been incorrectly visible due to a missing "hide in client" flag. This update fixes it:
Added the "hide in client" flag to |||MARK|||92 pet-training teach spells|||MARK|||.
The Hunter spellbook General tab is now much cleaner, showing only spells you actually use.
|||MARK|||Your pet's actual abilities (Growl, Bite, etc.) are unaffected and continue to work normally|||MARK||| — same damage, threat, and effects.
Database has been updated; the spell attributes only take full effect in the Hunter spellbook **after the next server restart**.

Capital City Hourly Buff Now Also Buffs Your Pet
Fixed the hourly capital-city buff broadcast (Stormwind / Orgrimmar — "Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer" and "Warchief's Blessing") not being applied to pets:
For Hunters / Warlocks / any class with an active pet, when the hourly buff fires in Stormwind or Orgrimmar, the |||MARK|||pet now receives the same buff|||MARK||| alongside the player — as long as the pet is summoned.
The rule for the player themselves is unchanged; nothing changes if you are outside a capital or have no pet out.
Buff duration, magnitudes, and broadcast cadence are unchanged.
This is a server-side code change; **takes effect after the next server restart** (a fresh binary is already staged, awaiting a natural restart window).
💰
Dungeon Mobs No Longer Drop Zero Gold
Fixed an issue where mobs in dungeons and raids dropped essentially no gold. Drops are now back to normal.
📜
Elwynn Forest Quest Chain Restored (Tower of Azora)
Fixed a broken quest chain around the Tower of Azora in Elwynn Forest where the required NPCs / mobs were not appearing:
|||MARK|||Tower of Azora|||MARK||| (deliver the scroll to Antonas Riftgaze) — the quest-turn-in NPC is back.
|||MARK|||The Master and the Student|||MARK||| (defeat Ralthas for the Necklace of Azora) — Ralthas is back.
Live now. If you spot similar "quest tracker marker but NPC / mob missing" issues on other zones, please report the name and we will restore them one by one.
June 7 · Rested XP Rework (Inn / Tent Double XP) · Northwind & Balor Content
The way online rested XP is gained has been reworked. Rested XP grants double XP from creature kills until the pool is spent:
|||MARK|||Inns|||MARK|||: standing online near an innkeeper in any non-capital inn steadily builds rested XP, up to |||MARK|||150%|||MARK||| (1.5 levels), filling in about 20 minutes.
|||MARK|||Tents / Campfires|||MARK|||: after placing a tent (Survival skill) or a campfire, standing nearby grants additional rested XP, up to an |||MARK|||extra 50%|||MARK|||, with a tent filling in about 15 minutes.
Inn and tent rest |||MARK|||stack|||MARK|||, so you can bank up to |||MARK|||200%|||MARK||| worth of double XP.
Capital cities |||MARK|||no longer|||MARK||| grant online rested accumulation; offline rest (gained while logged out) is unchanged.
Live as of this server restart.

New Zones — Northwind & Balor Content Update
Two new zones get a large content pass this update (still being polished):
|||MARK|||Northwind|||MARK|||: added many creatures and spawns, gathering-profession resource nodes, several creature spell rotations and behaviors, and cleaned up old placeholder spawns.
|||MARK|||Balor|||MARK|||: filled in its creatures, objects, and spawns.
Fixed |||MARK|||phasing around Northwind / Balor|||MARK||| — players in the same area could previously be split into different instances and not see / group with each other; they now share the same layer.
A batch of |||MARK|||pet and mount|||MARK||| issues have been fixed.
⚠️ Both zones are still being polished (some gossip and events are not yet enabled); live as of this server restart.
Tuned the faction values and interaction flags on a batch of objects (chests, switches, decorations) across the three new zones — 29 gameobject templates in total:
|||MARK|||Balor|||MARK|||: corrected faction / interaction flags on a batch of objects; players should be able to interact with them more smoothly.
|||MARK|||Stormwrought Ruins|||MARK|||: same — adjusted flags on several chests / decorations.
|||MARK|||Dragonmaw|||MARK|||: same — minor flag and faction adjustments.
Data has been written to the database; takes full effect after the next server restart / maintenance (already-spawned objects need a restart cycle to pick up new flags).
Fixed the 50-copper rental steeds at town stables:
Rented steeds are now proper temporary mounts — a fixed |||MARK|||+40% speed for 5 minutes|||MARK||| (previously they wrongly granted a permanent mount whose speed scaled with riding skill, nearly useless at low level)
Instant to mount — removed the casting delay
Takes effect after the next server restart / maintenance.
🦅
Loch Modan — Flight Master Restored
Fixed the missing flight master at Thelsamar in Loch Modan:
The Thelsamar gryphon master (Thorgrum Borrelson) is back at his post — the flight point works again
🔗
Quest Chains Reconnected
Following the recent quest-reward fixes, this update reconnects the quest chains for a batch of newer quests:
Follow-up quests now properly appear once their prerequisites are complete (some newer quests were previously missing these links)
Takes full effect after the next server restart / maintenance.
🛡️
PvP Reward Hall Vendors Restored
Fixed missing inventories and misleading vendor subtitles in the Hall of Legends and Hall of Champions:
Restored Alliance / Horde PvP armor and weapon quartermaster inventories.
Restored supporting reagent and food-and-drink vendor inventories inside the reward halls.
Corrected Simplified / Traditional Chinese vendor subtitles for NPCs such as Sergeant Major Clate to avoid misleading labels.
The database reload has already been applied; reopen the vendor window to refresh it. If an old client-side label remains, clear the WDB cache and log back in.
This update only touches reward-hall vendors and localization labels; existing player honor, ranks, and equipment are unchanged.
🏃
Open-world Creature Leash Tuning
Based on player reports that open-world creatures chase for too long and disengage too far away, leash tuning is underway:
The test realm now uses a 60-yard open-world leash reference distance for player testing.
The production configuration has been prepared and will take effect after the next server restart / maintenance.
Initial aggro radius is unchanged to avoid affecting leveling difficulty, stealth, or soothe-style abilities.
If creatures still feel impossible to shake off after stop-and-go movement, the leash extension logic will be tightened further.
Dungeons and specially scripted bosses are outside this open-world tuning pass.

Stormwind Guards — No Longer Sinking While Patrolling
Fixed Stormwind patrolling guards sinking into the ground at the canal bridges:
Guards now patrol properly along the bridge / ground instead of dropping beneath it
⚖️
Paladin — Repentance Reflects Holy Damage on Immune Targets
Improved how Repentance handles crowd-control-immune targets:
Against targets immune to the incapacitate effect (where Repentance previously did nothing), it now curses the target so it takes |||MARK|||Holy damage every time it melee-attacks|||MARK|||
The reflected damage now |||MARK|||scales with your spell power|||MARK||| and is |||MARK|||shown in your combat log|||MARK|||, so you can see exactly how much each hit deals
🌙
New Zone — Moonglade Coast (testing): Creature Polish
The new Moonglade Coast zone keeps improving — a batch of creature fixes this round (still in testing):
Fixed |||MARK|||many creatures spawning in mid-air / on mountaintops / underground|||MARK||| — now placed on the correct ground / cave floor
Wild creatures now |||MARK|||roam around|||MARK||| (previously most stood still)
Corrected some creature |||MARK|||names and display issues|||MARK||| (e.g. Hippogryph, a few invisible / mis-scaled mobs)
⚠️ Moonglade Coast is still in **testing** — some creature placement / behavior issues may remain; feedback welcome.
⚔️
Thunderfury — Proc Rate Restored
Fixed the legendary |||MARK|||Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker|||MARK||| proc firing far less often than intended:
Its chain-lightning on-hit effect was triggering far below the intended rate (almost never) — now restored to its original designed proc frequency
Proc chance now |||MARK|||scales correctly with weapon speed|||MARK|||, so it triggers reliably again
🔐
Login Pipeline — Real IP Detection Restored
Fixed an issue where some players could be incorrectly blocked by the “too many authentication failures” limit after disconnecting:
The login server now recognizes each player’s real public IP instead of treating outside players as the same internal gateway address
Login throttling is counted against the real source again, so one player’s failed attempts no longer spill over to others
No client or realmlist changes are needed; reconnecting uses the updated login path
✨
Paladin — Blessing Overwrite and Restored-Character Cleanup
Cleaned up restored Paladins and corrected several blessing-related rules:
Paladin blessings such as Blessing of Salvation now obey the shared overwrite family, with the latest blessing replacing the old one
Removed talent-gated leftovers such as Blessing of Kings, Blessing of Sanctuary and their improved variants from restored characters that should not have them by default
Restored Paladin characters are flagged for a talent reset on next login so talents can be reassigned on the current build
Hand of Reckoning trainer learning is verified so normal characters can learn it from Paladin trainers at the proper levels
Stormwrought Ruins — More Content (still in testing)
Another round of content has landed in Stormwrought Ruins, bringing it closer to a finished state (still early in testing):
Reworked |||MARK|||monster and object placement|||MARK||| throughout the dungeon — closer to its final form
Gave several creatures |||MARK|||combat ability rotations|||MARK||| — they now actively use abilities in combat instead of standing idle (still being tuned)
Added |||MARK|||mining / herb / fishing|||MARK||| gathering nodes inside the dungeon, so you can gather as you clear
⚠️ The dungeon is still in **testing**: creature pathfinding, boss ability rotations and quest-object hookups are being polished — you may hit rough edges; please try it and report issues.
June 3 · New Dungeon: Stormwrought Ruins (Testing) · City Blessings · Party Fix
The new dungeon Stormwrought Ruins has entered testing — it is an early work-in-progress and will keep improving:
Current progress roughly |||MARK|||2/5|||MARK||| — some bosses are challengeable, the rest are still being built
Still being polished: |||MARK|||creature pathfinding|||MARK||| (monster movement) and |||MARK|||boss ability rotations|||MARK||| — you may see monsters standing still or odd ability use
Please try it and report issues — we will keep iterating; numbers and mechanics may change before full release
⚠️ The dungeon is in a **testing phase** — expect rough edges (stuck monsters, odd abilities). It will keep getting fixed before full release; feedback welcome.
👥
Party — Logging Out No Longer Disbands the Group
Fixed an issue where one member logging out disbanded the whole party:
Offline members now |||MARK|||stay in the party|||MARK||| (shown offline) instead of the group breaking up
When they log back in they |||MARK|||rejoin the same party automatically|||MARK|||, as in vanilla
🏰
Hourly Capital Blessings
Players physically inside the capital cities now receive city blessings automatically once per hour — no need to wait on world boss head turn-ins:
|||MARK|||Stormwind City|||MARK|||: Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer (AP + spell damage + resistances + 10%, 2-hour duration)
|||MARK|||Orgrimmar|||MARK|||: Rallying Cry of the Dragonslayer + Warchief's Blessing (extra +10% health / mana / haste)
|||MARK|||Fires once per hour on the dot|||MARK|||; applies only to online players standing inside the capital zone — instances and open world are unaffected
⚠️ This is an **early-leveling transitional perk** to help newer characters get up to speed. It will be reviewed and may be retired later as the server matures — please plan accordingly.
🐺
Restored Quest Line — Lulu in Goldshire
Restored a Goldshire quest line that had become unobtainable:
Pick up |||MARK|||"Lulu Looks Luscious to Lupines"|||MARK||| from |||MARK|||Lulu|||MARK||| — cull the mangy wolves in Elwynn Forest
Then continue with |||MARK|||"Wool Would Work"|||MARK||| from |||MARK|||Julie Osworth|||MARK||| — gather wool from the lost farm sheep
The chain was previously unobtainable due to a broken prerequisite — now fixed; just relog and find them in Goldshire
Fixed an issue where queueing for a battleground would immediately disconnect you, making it impossible to get in:
|||MARK|||Warsong Gulch / Arathi Basin / Alterac Valley|||MARK||| now work normally — you can queue and enter again
This was a |||MARK|||server-side fix|||MARK||| — no cache clearing or extra steps needed, just relog and queue
🔧
Server Stability — Attempted Fix for Occasional Restarts
We have identified and |||MARK|||attempted to fix|||MARK||| an issue that could occasionally cause the server to restart unexpectedly during combat:
In certain combat situations (some auras triggering on a melee hit) the server could hit an error and restart. This update reworks that path to |||MARK|||try to eliminate the issue|||MARK|||
This is a |||MARK|||server-side change|||MARK||| — no cache clearing or extra steps needed. If you still run into unexpected restarts, please keep reporting and we will keep monitoring
✨
Paladin — Holy Shock, Judgement of Wisdom & Blessings Fixes
This update also includes several Paladin fixes:
|||MARK|||Holy Shock (Rank 4)|||MARK|||: previously healed no allies and dealt no damage to enemies — it now works correctly for both
|||MARK|||Hands now coexist with Blessings|||MARK|||: Hand of Protection / Freedom / Salvation / Sacrifice no longer overwrite Blessings (Kings, Might, Wisdom, etc.) — they can be active |||MARK|||at the same time|||MARK|||
|||MARK|||Judgement of Wisdom (Rank 4 / 5)|||MARK|||: ranks 4 and 5 returned no mana when hitting the judged target (ranks 1-3 worked) — now fixed to restore mana per rank
Applies to all characters server-wide — just relog. Please report if anything still looks off
June 1 · Paladin · Hunter Pet · Darkmoon Vendor Fixes
Fixed an issue where Paladin Consecration dealt no damage to enemies in its area:
Consecration now correctly deals |||MARK|||periodic damage|||MARK||| to enemies standing in its area
The fix applies to |||MARK|||all characters|||MARK||| server-wide — just relog, no other action needed
📿
Libram of Hallowed Ground — Fixed
Fixed the equip effect of the |||MARK|||Libram of Hallowed Ground|||MARK|||:
While equipped, casting Consecration now adds a burst of |||MARK|||Holy area damage|||MARK|||
This damage |||MARK|||scales with spell power|||MARK||| and |||MARK|||can critically strike|||MARK|||
🐾
Hunter — Pet Growl Restored by Level
Fixed missing Growl ranks under Beast Training for hunters:
All hunters server-wide now have the correct |||MARK|||Growl (taunt)|||MARK||| rank under Beast Training, scaled to level (one rank per 10 levels, up to rank 7 at 60)
Pets also know the matching Growl rank and taunt correctly
Just relog to see it under the Beast Training tab
🎪
Darkmoon Faire Vendors — Stock Limits Restored
Fixed unlimited stock on several Darkmoon Faire vendor items (Lhara, Professor Paleo):
21 items (herbs, weapons, Darkmoon ring/necklace, potions, scrolls) now have |||MARK|||limited stock with timed restock|||MARK||| as in vanilla
Fixed an issue where a newly-created character's starting weapons (and some other items) were shown as the wrong, high-level epic gear (wrong stats, icon and set):
Caused by an internal conflict in the server item-display data — now |||MARK|||fully corrected|||MARK|||
Starting gear for |||MARK|||all races and classes now displays correctly|||MARK|||
IMPORTANT: If you saw starting weapons shown as epics, your client has cached the wrong data. Please QUIT the game → delete the WDB folder (or the whole Cache folder) in your WoW install → log back in to fully clear it. The wrong display will persist until the cache is cleared.
Lacerate previously only dealt the initial hit with no bleed. Now fully implemented per its tooltip:
Direct hit = 40% of your melee Attack Power
Applies a bleed dealing 20% of that hit damage over its duration
Used from the side/behind: +15% damage
💞
Beast Mastery — Spirit Bond Heal Implemented
Spirit Bond previously only granted the attack-power inheritance; the periodic heal was missing. Now complete:
You and your pet each regain 1% (R1) / 2% (R2) of total health every 5 sec
Pet attack-power inheritance unchanged
🐾
Tamed Pets Missing Abilities — Root Cause Fixed
About 307 tameable beasts (~40%) previously gave a freshly-tamed pet no abilities at all. Fixed by assigning every one a family- and level-appropriate pet ability list:
All tameable beasts now grant their family attack + special abilities on tame
NOTE: applies to newly-tamed pets; existing pets must be re-tamed to gain the abilities
🤝
Beast Mastery — Coordinated Assault Fixed
The pet strike previously dealt only 1 damage; now correctly deals physical damage equal to 20% of your ranged attack power
🧪
Elixir / Concoction Fixes
Concoction of the Emerald Mongoose — previously applied only half its stats and showed "no charges"; now grants all 5 stats and consumes correctly
Full audit of every elixir/flask completed; non-flask elixirs stack correctly
🎭
Shop Appearance Tokens Fixed
All 45 cash-shop appearance / skin "Mark of ..." tokens are now consumed on use
📦
Max-Level Hunter Restore Enhancement
Restoring a level-60 hunter now auto-grants all 85 beast-training abilities (every family, every rank)
No need to re-tame wild pets one-by-one to learn abilities — the Beast Training UI shows everything immediately
All new dungeon bosses and elites now align with the community-canonical names used by the InstanceJournal addon. The HP bar, combat log, quest log, and dungeon journal all show the same Chinese name:
Halgan Redbrand · Garlok Flamekeeper · Web Master Torkon
Slagfist Destroyer · Overlord Blackheart
Searistrasz · Cavernweb Broodmother
...and the rest of the Dragonmaw / Windhorn / Frostmane rosters.
🎁
Shop Items & Full Equipment Localized
This pass fills in the previously-untranslated shop catalogue, mounts, dungeon loot, tier sets, legendaries, and their yellow flavor text:
This update only adds Chinese translations. |||MARK|||English clients continue to display the original English text|||MARK||| with zero interference.
⚠️
Still Seeing Old Names? Clear Your Client Cache
The WoW 1.12 client caches NPC / item / quest names in its local `WDB` folder and never re-queries the server for them. If anything still shows English or an old translation, refresh by:
1. Fully exit WoW
2. Delete the entire `Cache` folder under your WoW install directory
3. Re-launch — names will be re-queried fresh on first sight
If you spot any remaining untranslated NPC / item / quest, please report it via guild chat or a GM ticket.
|||MARK|||Squire Boltflint|||MARK|||: portable ammo vendor
|||MARK|||Glitterglam|||MARK|||: portable transmog NPC — opens the transmog UI
⚔️
Combat QoL
Single-target |||MARK|||debuff limit raised from 16 to 40|||MARK||| — DoT classes no longer compete for slots.
Health bars now display |||MARK|||exact HP values|||MARK||| instead of percentage only.
🏞
Creature & Object Position Fixes
A wave of creatures and objects that spawned on rooftops, hilltops, or other broken positions have been moved back into their intended caves, floors, and ground areas. Affected zones:
Redridge — Yellowclaw cave
Northwind Highlands — Bristlewhisker cave series
Sherwood Quarry, including Dark Iron powder kegs
Bough Shadow Ooze caves
Westbreeze Ruins — rooftop mobs moved back to ground
Stormwind Keep tower — restructured into 4 floors with boss on top
Croaking Plateau caves (upper / lower levels)
Roughly **250+ creatures and interactables** were repositioned. Remaining outliers will be addressed in upcoming patches.
📦
Character Restoration Improvements
Level-60 hunter pets are now restored using their family's iconic rare-NPC model.
Supported rares include Broken Tooth, Humar the Pridelord, Lupos, Ravasaur Matriarch, Embereye, and more — 17 in total.
Hunter pets will no longer be downgraded to the generic creature model.
Rogue |||MARK|||Lockpicking skill rank|||MARK||| is now restored correctly.
⚒️
Craftmaster Mode Now Live
The |||MARK|||Craftmaster Mode|||MARK||| option already existed in character creation, but the server-side logic was incomplete. With this update, Craftmaster Mode is now fully active.
Before level 60, you may only equip gear you crafted yourself.
Bags, thrown weapons, arrows, and bullets are exempt from this restriction.
At level 60, the restriction lifts automatically.
Rules:
The “Craftmaster” title
In-mail reward: portable Moonwell — a Craftmaster-exclusive item
In-mail reward: Blazing Forge Kit
On reaching level 60 you will receive:
In short: Craftmaster's gear restriction applies only before level 60. At max level you can wear anything.
🐌
Slow & Steady Mode — Gift Resend
Fixed missing level-up gift mails for |||MARK|||Slow & Steady Mode|||MARK|||.
Slow & Steady is meant to mail a gift at levels 10 / 20 / 30 / 40 / 50 / 60.
The old logic only triggered on exact-level match.
GM-assisted level jumps could result in only the level-60 gift arriving.
Multi-level XP overflow could cause middle-tier gifts to be lost.
Previous issue:
Each level-up now back-fills every milestone gift not yet claimed.
A per-account ledger tracks delivered gifts to prevent duplicates.
Reaching level 60 still grants an additional |||MARK|||200 N Coins|||MARK||| to the account.
After the fix:
